Chapter 1123 A brand new yacht
Jessica still lingered and didn’t want to leave, she wished she could just hug Charlotte right then and there.
Joe couldn’t help but speak up, looking at Jessica with a stern face, “Don’t you have work to do? I don’t want to hear news of the
spokesperson being unemployed right after signing the contract."
Reluctantly, Jessica bid farewell to Charlotte and left the office.
After Jessica left, Joe felt the air was much fresher.
He glanced at Charlotte and asked, “You’ve been complaining about being bored, haven’t you? Is there anywhere you’d like to
go?"
Surprised by his sudden question, Charlotte was at a loss for where she wanted to go.
Seeing her reaction, Joe smiled and said, “Well then, let’s go with my plan."
Charlotte’s eyes lit up as she realized that Joe had already made plans and was just waiting to see if she had any other ideas.
Joe drove Charlotte to the pier, where a brand new yacht was waiting for them.
“Are you taking me out to sea?"
Charlotte exclaimed.
Although her external injuries had healed, her fractured bones had not fully recovered, so she couldn’t engage in strenuous
activities, let alone go into the water.
Joe, who had always been concerned about her injuries, couldn’t possibly be unaware of this.
With a mysterious smile, he lifted Charlotte onto the yacht.
She gasped and instinctively held onto his neck.
“Relax, I won’t drop you,"
Joe said cautiously, supporting her, “Don’t exert too much force, be careful of your wound."
Joe’s gentle voice helped Charlotte regain some composure, and she awkwardly withdrew her hand.
When she met Joe’s eyes filled with a smile, Charlotte simply let go of his hand.
Unexpectedly, Joe held her even tighter, and just as Charlotte was about to glare at him, she saw Joe’s brow furrowed tightly,
“Be careful."
It was then that Charlotte remembered her wound and obediently held onto Joe’s neck.
Sensing the fragrance coming from her, Joe couldn’t help but show a faint smile.
He carefully carried Charlotte into the cabin, and as soon as she entered, she couldn’t help but exclaim, “Wow!"
The bottom of the yacht’s cabin had been replaced with the latest molecular glass, allowing them to see the movement of the
sea water and the fish swimming clearly.
“Did you design this?" Charlotte asked in amazement, as the yacht looked brand new and must have been pre-ordered.
Joe nodded, “I wanted to go out to sea with you before, but I didn’t expect it to come in handy at this time."
Hearing his words, Charlotte couldn’t help but feel a little sweet inside.
“We weren’t even familiar with each other before, how did you..."
A custom yacht took at least a year to build, so Joe must have been preparing this yacht at least a year ago? Before Charlotte
could figure it out, the yacht sailed into the sea.
Sitting on the transparent floor, watching the waves rolling underneath, Charlotte felt incredibly fascinated.
Joe looked at her helplessly and said, “We finally made it out to sea, let’s go outside and take a look.”
