Finding Them

When Daniel returned to the house with the car seats installed, he couldn't spot his children anywhere. Eddie he knew was at school and Hunter had morning classes at uni. Jamie had afternoon classes so he was supposed to be here with Mitchell and the twins. Daniel knew they couldn't go far as they had no car seats for the twins so he decided to go looking for them. He checked in the backyard and saw the twins in undies playing with the hose. The twins were laughing and running in the water while Jamie squirted them and Mitchell filmed it all. Daniel couldn't help but laugh at them before going over and turning the tap off.

The twins swung around when the water stopped looking at Jamie. "More" Dakota called out. Jamie looked at his father who shook his head no. "Sorry guys maybe we can do it again another day" Jamie told the twins before putting the hose down. Dakota and Darcy held hands walking over to the hose and picking it up. Dakota started to shake the hose to get more water to come out of it but it didn't work. He looked at the top of the hose trying to work out how to get the water going again. Dakota and Darcy looked at Jamie "more ta?" Darcy asked.

Darcy and Dakota looked at the top of the hose and Daniel couldn't help himself, he turned the hose on again splashing the twins right in the face with the hose as they were looking into the top of the hose. Dakota squealed while Darcy fell on her bum. Mitchell, Jamie and Daniel were laughing at the twins until Dakota spun around to glare at Jamie drenching him with the hose.

Jamie was shocked his brother had wet him. Mitchell and Daniel were now laughing at a drenched Jamie who was glaring at Dakota. Darcy was watching Jamie worried he might hurt Dakota as he and Mitchell said they weren't allowed to wet them. Daniel noticed Darcy and turned the water off quickly, he started to head over to Darcy to reassure her that it was ok but Jamie began to stalk towards the twins so he could tickle them. Dakota quickly backed away when he saw the glare that Jamie was giving him tripping over Darcy and landing on the ground. Both twins were scared but Jamie still was advancing on them. Just as he was about to start tickling them Daniel called out "Jamie stop" causing Jamie to freeze just as his hands were about to touch Darcy who let out a blood-curdling scream.

Daniel and Mitchell ran over to the twins, both were annoyed with themselves for not reacting sooner. The fear on both twin's faces was enough to send a grown man to his knees. "Hey, it's ok I was just going to tickle you. I am not mad" Jamie told the twins but they couldn't hear him due to Darcy's screams. Daniel scooped up both of the twins and pulled them to his chest. Darcy was shaking like a leaf and Dakota was frozen. "Shhhh, it's ok Daddy is here. No one will hurt you. You are both safe" Daniel kept repeating to the twins attempting to get them to calm down. Mitchell stood watching and Jamie hung his head in shame. "Jamie it's ok, it's not your fault. We all were having fun. We forgot what they have been through" Daniel told his son who just nodded his head.

Once the twins were calmed down, Daniel was soaked but he didn't care. He held his twins because they needed him in that moment and he wanted to show them he would be there for them no matter what. "Jamie was not going to hurt you, he was playing," Mitchell told the twins. Dakota was now glaring at Jamie and Darcy was still hiccuping from her breakdown. "No nice" Dakota firmly told Jamie. "I was going to tickle you" Jamie whispered to the twins. "Twickle?" Darcy whispered. "Yeah, tickle. Has no one tickled you?" Jamie asked in disbelief. Both twins shook their heads no.

Jamie slowly approached both twins who were still in Daniel's arms. He lifted both hands and started to tickle both the twin's stomachs. Dakota began to move around trying to get away from Jamie's hands and Darcy was laughing softly. Jamie dropped his hands "That's tickling" he told the twins. "Gain," Darcy said, she liked being tickled. Dakota looked at Darcy and saw her face so he looked towards Jamie who came and started to tickle both the twins again. Darcy started to laugh louder whereas Dakota tried to get away, he didn't like the feeling of being tickled. Jamie seemed to notice so he stopped tickling him and continued to tickle Darcy.

Dakota watched as Jamie tickled Darcy who was laughing and he couldn't help but laugh too. Jamie stopped tickling Darcy so she could catch her breath. Darcy took some deep breaths and was smiling. Dakota liked seeing Darcy laughing, it made him happy. "Gain, more Cc laugh," Dakota told Jamie while pointing. "You want me to tickle Darcy again?" Jamie asked causing Dakota to nod his head quickly while smiling. Mitchell laughed, Dakota was going to be just like any other brother annoying his sister. "What about we tickle Dakota?" Mitchell asked to which Dakota's eyes went wide and he shook his head no. He didn't like the feeling. "So the tickle monster is for Darcy only?" Jamie asked and Dakota nodded his head again.

Jamie started to tickle Darcy again as she began to laugh more, Daniel, Mitchell, Jamie and Dakota were laughing at her. Daniel put the twins down so they could play a little more. Darcy was trying to run from everyone as they were all trying to tickle her. They looked so carefree in that moment and Daniel couldn't be happier that the twins were being children.

Darcy stopped running and her eyes went big. She had been laughing so hard and having fun that she forgot to go to the toilet. Daniel spotted her just as she started weeing in her undies. He saw the big round tears start to fall and headed to his daughter. "I sowwy" Darcy sobbed out alerting the others to the fact she was crying. Mitchell and Jamie froze not knowing what was happening but Dakota ran to his sister. "Hey princess it's ok. It's an accident and we are outside. Don't be sad" Daniel told his daughter. She looked at Daniel with her big sad eyes. "Cc bad?" Darcy asked to which Daniel shook his head no. "Let's head inside and get cleaned up and have some lunch so we can go buy some toys," Daniel told the twins taking both of them by their hand back over to the hose.

"What happened?" Mitchell asked his father. "Wet herself" Daniel replied quietly. Daniel stripped the wet undies off both twins and quickly washed them down with the hose while Mitchell went and grabbed towels for the twins. Jamie went to his room to get dry clothes so he could head to his afternoon classes. Once the twins were dry Mitchel and Daniel dressed them both before taking them to the kitchen for some lunch. They had a lot to do in the afternoon to get the house adapted for the twins living there.
