Finding Bailey

The family camped out in the lounge room again, no one wanted to be away from Bailey. Bailey in turn didn't want to be away from Nelson. She babbled da da when she couldn't see him and if he didn't appear quickly she became distressed and nothing calmed her down besides Nelson.

Bailey slept on Brax, she was ok with the boys feeding her as long as Nelson was in the room and had fallen asleep holding on to Nelson's finger but laying on Brax. Nelson knew that Bailey would need to be comfortable with all of her brothers because there may be times when he couldn't be with her.

Monday was soon approaching but Nelson being one of the bosses could take Bailey with him if need be. Blair was going to be home though and it would be beneficial for her to be away from Nelson for short periods of time. It was very normal for Bailey to have separation anxiety from her main caregiver but Bailey had just met Nelson and attached herself to him.

When Bailey began to wake up she looked at who was holding her and got upset. "Da da" Bailey cried waking everyone up. Nelson sat up so Bailey could see him but that wasn't enough. "Da da" she cried when Nelson made no move to come and get her. "Hi princess, I am right here. Brax has got you and Bodie will make you a bottle" Nelson told Bailey calmly. He wanted her to be comfortable with all of them not just him.

Bailey wanted a hug from Nelson to make sure he was really here. She liked being with the others but felt safest with Nelson. She put her hands out towards Nelson and cried "Da da" one last time before dropping her bottom lip.

Brax couldn't stand seeing his baby sister so upset so stood up and took her over to his dad. Brax handed Nelson Bailey, "dad I can't see her upset. Just give her a cuddle and then Bodie can feed her" Brax stated. The minute Bailey was in Nelson's arms she snuggled in and calmed down completely. She was happiest in Nelson's arms and everyone could see that. Were they jealous? Absolutely, they all wanted to be Bailey's favourite but they would work for the title if they had to.

Once Bodie had the bottle ready he headed back into the lounge room seeing Bailey almost asleep on his father's chest. He shook his head, he didn't know who was more content at that moment, Bailey or Nelson. "Come on Bailey, I'll feed you your bottle" Bodie stated picking his sister up from off his father's chest. Bailey pouted at her brother. She was hungry but she also wanted to sleep on da da. Blair laughed at his sisters pout and glare because it wasn't aimed at him.

Bodie put the bottle to Bailey's mouth and she began to drink it but wouldn't look at him. "Bro, I think you are getting the silent treatment" Brax laughed at Bodie who shook his head. He was not amused at all.

Nelson headed up to shower while Bailey was occupied and then he would organise breakfast. He had sent Brax out last night to get yoghurts and the creams for Bailey. Nelson would try to feed Bailey the yoghurts this morning. Bailey was more respective to solid foods in the morning. At night she just spat them out. He would also give Bailey some banana again as she liked that.

Bailey didn't notice that Dada wasn't in the room because she was busy drinking her milk and ignoring Bodie who kept trying to engage with his baby sister. She was just as stubborn as the rest of the Williams and continued to ignore him. Brax and Blair found it hilarious until Bodie pointed out that they would be on the receiving end soon enough. This stopped them in their tracks and they too tried to get Bailey to acknowledge them and Bodie.

Once Bailey was finished her bottle Bodie burped her and handed her to Blair to change her nappy. He heard the noise that she had made when she was pooping and could smell it, there was no way he was changing her. Bailey was squirming around so much because she was uncomfortable and by doing so the nappy exploded all over Blair.

"Dad! oh god, dad!!" Blair called out gagging. This upset Bailey who began to cry. She was uncomfortable and wanted the dirty nappy off her. Brax and Bodie took off out of the room not able to handle the poo explosion or the smell. Nelson rushed into the room to see why Blair was urgently calling him.

"What's happened?" Nelson asked. Blair was holding Bailey at arms length and gagging. "Take her, oh god the smell" Blair choked out trying not to breath through his nose. Nelson saw Bailey had pooed and it was everywhere. "Come here sweetheart, let's get you cleaned up" Nelson said taking Bailey from Nelson and headed straight to the bathroom. He knew there was no cleaning her up without a shower. She had poo everywhere.

Nelson cleaned Bailey as much as he could then turned the taps on in the bath. Nelson knew it would be the easiest way to clean Bailey up. It would also help her skin rather then wiping her with wipes.

Blair had headed straight to his bathroom after Nelson took Bailey. He wanted a shower after the poo got onto him. He couldn't believe that much stuff came out of someone so tiny. He assumed there was something terribly wrong with his sister to poo that much and for it to smell that bad. Once he was done in the shower he went to find his dad because clearly they needed to take Bailey to the hospital.

Nelson was still bathing Bailey and she was having fun in the water. She had never had a proper bath and was splashing around and giggling when the water hit her in the face. Brax and Bodie were also there watching Bailey having fun. "Dad we need to take her to the hospital. How can something so small do something that horrible?" Blair asked. "She is fine, she just isn't use to having regular meals and her body reacted. It's completely normal and will settle when she is use to regular meals" Nelson explained to his sons.
