Fate’s Second Chance Chapter 10
Chapter 10 Send the Divorce Agreement to Felix Res
Chapter 10
At that, Salome sat down in the lounge area by the window and quickly replied. ‘Can I
meet him in person first?‘
She was already in the lobby of Anderson Group, and they could meet up at once if
Isaac was okay with it. The lawyer said they would negotiate, so there was no further
reply.

Meanwhile, on the top floor of the building, a man was sitting behind a black marble
desk reading through a document with a lowered head when Jason entered. “Sir, Miss
Felix wishes to meet with you.”
“No,” said Isaac plainly, not wanting to dwell on it, as he lifted his gaze from the
documents briefly, for he believed it was just his nominal wife’s way of impeding the
divorce.
Does she think meeting with me can change anything? Well, she sure is full of herself.
A trace of annoyance flickered across his brow as he said, his voice cold and deep. “Get
the lawyer to send the divorce agreement to the Felix Residence and have her sign it.”
Jason nodded in acknowledgment and dropped the issue concerning his boss‘ wife at
once, reconfirming the schedule with Isaac. “Viktor Hill, the president of Wonda Bank,
has scheduled a meeting with you this afternoon at the golf course. We can depart

now.”
At that, Isaac stood up and casually adjusted his tie while humming a response.

As time ticked away, several people, both men and women, who were dressed in office
wear gradually entered and left after Salome sat down.
She sat quietly aside and resembled a beautiful painting until she received a call from
Arthur, who sounded unusually urgent. “Salome, what’s going on? Why has Isaac suddenly asked for a divorce? Has something gone wrong in your relationship? Come
back home and talk this through now.”
Salome paused for a moment before answering, “Dad, you’re aware that he went
abroad for three years immediately after marrying me. I’m sure you know exactly what
for he’s returned this time.”
“Salome, this marriage cannot end!” Arthur beseeched. “Our family is going through a
difficult time now. We are about to face the second round of financing. Our stocks will
definitely be affected if you divorce Isaac at this time, and the shareholders will also
withdraw their investments.”
“What did I tell you? She doesn’t have the same intentions as you and can’t be relied
on!” Leticia’s voice could also be heard on the other end of the line..”Would Mr.
Anderson have the lawyer send the divorce agreement directly to our home if she had
even put in a little effort?! Look at us now; we’re nothing but a laughingstock!”

Arthur fell silent for a moment, then whispered, “I’m doing this for your own good,
Salome. It’s not easy for a divorced woman to remarry. Let’s talk to Old Mr. Anderson.
He has always adored you…”

A heavy feeling settled in Salome’s chest, and she wanted to ask her father if he had
done it for her sake or the company’s, or even for the sake of Leticia’s family. However,
she couldn’t bring herself to do so. Not when Arthur would even take her to meetings,
fearing for her safety, back when her mother had just passed away.
Hence, she only mentioned that Jacob was still at a sanatorium overseas and tried to
comfort her father before hanging up the phone.
Isaac has already sent the divorce agreement to Felix Residence through his lawyer,
huh? Looks like the negotiation has failed; he’s not willing to meet. He really sure
detests this wife of his.
Since he had made his stance clear, there was no need for her to continue to wait and
be a nuisance.
Salome felt a little discouraged. Later, it wasn’t after she accidentally bumped her knee
while getting into the car that she saw a new message from Luke. ‘Did Tyson Hill, the
son of the president of Wonda Bank, contact you before?‘
He had indeed. However, because she was swamped with picking out materials for
another client, she had totally forgotten about it.

Luke said that Tyson had made an appointment with the studio and was currently at

the golf course, specifying his preference for her designs. So, she asked for the address
and drove there.
The golf course was located on the outskirts and was said to be a prestigious place
with a favorable location, spanning thousands of acres.
When Salome arrived, Tyson’s assistant greeted her at the entrance.
“Hello, Miss Penny.” The assistant smiled politely. “This way, please.”
She followed the assistant to find that she had been brought to the changing room,
where the latter explained, “The grass and sand areas of the golf course need
maintenance, and only players and caddies are allowed inside. I have prepared the
clubs for you, Miss Penny. Do you play golf?”
“A little, but I’m not good at it.”
“That’s fine. Please change into the appropriate attire first. Mr. Tyson is waiting for you
on the course.”
Salome nodded in acknowledgment. In the past, she had even played tennis and gone
fishing with clients to secure deals. Hence, golf was nothing to her.
The assistant had prepared a white sports skirt and also thoughtfully provided her with

à matching hairband.
After tying her long hair into a ponytail, Salome grabbed the golf club set and headed
out.

As she arrived in the lobby downstairs, she glanced outside at the golf course to spot a
tall man with a commanding presence just as she withdrew her gaze. Exuding a chilling
aura as he walked, he was surrounded by a group of people entering through the
entrance.
She stopped at once as though she had been frozen over. Isaac Anderson is also here?!
As she stood in the most conspicuous spot, it was hard for people not to notice her.
With bright and discerning eyes and a high ponytail, she exuded a youthful and lively
vibe. Her legs were long and straight beneath the sports skirt, dazzlingly fair, with a
glaring red mark on her knee that appeared particularly prominent.
Isaac only took a gander at her before shifting his gaze away.
