Fated to Love You Again (Shawn and Norah)

Chapter 123] President Lawson, something happened to Mrs. Lawson.

[Chapter 123] Mr. Lawson, Something Happened to Mrs. Lawson.

As long as he thought about the days without Norah in the future, he would feel uncomfortable and out of breath.

He always felt that she was a dispensable existence in his life, and it didn't make any difference whether she was with him or not.

But once he thought that she would never appear in this room, his life or his world again, he felt empty in his heart.

It felt like something very important was missing.

He didn't know why.

All he knew was that he didn't want a divorce at all.

"Honey, I'm sorry. I didn't protect you well."

Shawn grabbed Norah's hands with a drop of tear dripping on the ground.

That night, Norah slept on the bed. Shawn sat on the floor beside her while holding her hands.

When Norah woke up, there was a breeze blowing in through the window. The wind gently fluttered and flipped the chiffon curtains, just like a butterfly. It was extremely beautiful.

If it were in the past, what a beautiful spectacle it was.

But now, she might not be in the mood for appreciation.

The maid came in with a hearty breakfast which was excellent in color and aroma.

However, Norah just glanced at it indifferently, "I'm not hungry now. I'll have lunch at noon."

At noon, the maid also prepared a sumptuous lunch.

Norah took it quietly, "I will eat it, you can leave now!"

"Yes, Mrs. Lawson."

Actually, Norah didn't eat any of them.

She had no appetite at all.

As soon as she woke up this morning, she found that she was imprisoned. Shawn hired many bodyguards to blockade the house. Not only that, even her maids were well-arranged.

In other words, from now on, she would be completely grounded in this room.

She couldn't go anywhere but stay here.

She called Shawn, but he didn't answer.

Once, twice, ten times, twenty times...No one answered.

Norah knew that he did it on purpose.

At five o'clock in the afternoon, the sunset glowed outside the window and it was extremely beautiful. A large cloud covered the sky with fiery red, orange-red, and tangerine red, and the colors were gorgeous. "It's so amazing!" Norah couldn't help exclaiming.

She lifted the curtains, opened the window, and sat on the window sill with bare feet, resting her chin with one hand and quietly watching the beautiful scenery outside the window.

She didn't remember how long she sat there. She only remembered that the sunset glow and sun also set, and the sky gradually turned dark. Norah still kept her previous posture and sat motionless on the window sill.

As night came, the evening wind gradually cooled.

The dress on Norah's body was blown non-stop by the wind, and her bare little feet were so icy cold that there was almost no warmth at all.

Her body was also very cold.

She reached out and hugged her own body tightly, trying to warm herself up.

But it didn't seem to work, it was still cold.

No matter how many clothes she wore, it was useless. Because "coldness" seeped from the bottom of her heart.

There was a knock at the door, and Norah knew that it was a food delivery. She said lightly, "Put it at the door, I will eat it later."

The maid delivered three meals like this. She didn't feel anything wrong with it, so she put down the meals and left.

The wind outside the window was getting stronger and stronger.

The temperature was getting lower and lower.

A fine drizzle came in through the window and fell on her soft skin.

At first, when a few drops fell on her face, Norah thought she was unintentionally crying.

She touched her eyes. She realized that she was not crying, and it was raining.

However, why did she feel that the rain from the sky looked so much like her tears?

She missed her baby...so much.

Norah's hands were gently placed on her belly.

Norah could even feel her baby's movement and hear the heartbeat as before, but why was the baby not in her belly?

"Baby, I'm sorry..." Norah buried her head in her knees with tears streaming down her face, "I'm sorry, baby, and mom is so incompetent that I don't protect you well."

"When you choose your mother in heaven in your next life, you must choose one who can protect you."

Tears dripped from Norah's eyes and her knees were heavily wet.

It was an hour later that the maid noticed something was wrong.

Originally, she wanted to ask Mrs. Lawson whether she had eaten today's dinner or not. Because she could take down the plates of today's meals. The plates couldn't be put in the room all the time. However, when she went upstairs, she found that the dinner she brought was still outside the door. Mrs. Lawson did not eat or move the plates.

"Mrs. Lawson..." the maid shouted as she knocked on the door.

However, it was quiet inside, and there was no sound at all.

The maid was frightened and kept shouting anxiously, "Mrs. Lawson, Mrs. Lawson... Please respond to me. Mrs. Lawson... Please speak up."

"Mrs. Lawson, please speak up quickly. Don't scare me!"

The maid was very anxious outside the room.

Norah heard these calls, but she didn't want to answer.

She felt so tired that even her breath was with a pricking.

How could she have excess energy to respond to them?

She was so exhausted that she didn't even want to move her eyelids.

After shouting for several minutes, it was quiet inside. There was no movement at all. So the maid was frightened and immediately ran downstairs to call Shawn.

As a result, as soon as the maid ran down, she saw Shawn. The maid immediately reported in a panic, "Lu... Mr. Lawson, it seems that Norah has had something wrong with Mrs. Lawson." "What? Really?"

Shawn's heart tightened, and he ran upstairs by taking a stride.

The maid panted and explained behind him, "I brought the dinner to Mrs. Lawson, and she asked me to put it outside the door. I didn't think too much and for fear of disturbing her, I put it outside the door as she said."

"But when I went to clean up an hour later, I found that the dinner was still outside the door. She didn't come out to get it at all, even without moving the plates."

Looking at a bodyguard next to him, Shawn shouted, "Why are you still staring? Open the door immediately."

After the door opened, Shawn ran into the room frantically.

As soon as he entered the door, he saw breakfast and lunch on the table. And with the dinner he just saw at the door, it happened to be the three meals of the day. Everything was all neat. In other words, she did not eat a meal.

Shawn became more anxious and shouted as he ran, "Norah... Norah..."

As a result, several people looked around on the bed, in the bathroom, in the dressing room, and even in the locker, but they couldn't find Norah.

Shawn picked up the phone. But Norah's phone rang on the bed, she didn't take it at all.

He was scared to death, covered in a cold sweat.

"Are you sure that she didn't go out?" Shawn looked at the bodyguard next to him.

The bodyguard answered nervously, " Mr. Lawson, I promise it is absolutely impossible for Mrs. Lawson to go out. I was at the door the whole time."

"Ask everybody to come here and find her even if I tear this building apart."

As he finished speaking, the high wind blew and the curtains fluttered greatly. Shawn suddenly saw the familiar petite figure.

"Stop, get out." He said.

"Norah." Shawn shouted intensely with a hanging heart. He lightly and urgently walked towards the window.
