Every Breath You Take

Chapter 47

Roland didn't hang up the phone, so Beck did not dare to hang on him. Roland kept cursing those men. "Stupid guys, who do you think you are? I will make you regret your blindness!"

Beck couldn't help but interrupt. "Mr. Wang, they don't choose Monica because she is a single mother and her braces make her look ugly."

"Don't I know that?" Roland snorted. "I have to find a way to let Monica take off her mask and make everyone regret it!"

"Isn't it easy? Why don't we find someone to participate in the program and choose Monica?"

His words made Roland's eyes brighten. "I've got an idea!"

The second episode lasted for a total of three days. On the first day, Monica was still not wanted. She was calm, but Summer was not. During lunchtime, she had been cursing those men, as if she was the one who had been wronged.

At noon, Summer was still cursing, but at night, she became happily. "Do you have any good news?" Monica felt strange.

"Yes!" Summer answered and looked at Monica up and down for a while. "Moni, have you ever thought about becoming famous?"

"Famous? Me?" Monica pointed to her nose and touched Summer's forehead. "Summer, you didn't have a fever, did you?"

"No!" Summer took her hand. "Moni, you must be mentally prepared. I think you will occupy the front pages of the major media soon." "Why?"

"It's a secret. You'll know it soon. You'd better get ready and don't be scared." Summer didn't want to tell her.

Monica thought that she was talking nonsense and ignored her. The next morning, Monica entered the broadcast hall of the TV station as usual. When she stood in her own position, she found that there was a missing person on the male guest seats.

She felt a little strange. She heard from Summer that the program was very popular and there were a lot of people who wanted to participate in it. Why was one person missing?

The show officially began. As the prelude sounded, the host entered the venue. There was no change in the host's opening words.

But after finishing the opening words, the host changed the subject, "Today is the third episode of our program. After the first episode, our program has been very popular. How popular is it? Our staff has been working overtime for several days to register and select because of the large number of applicants."

The host paused for a moment and pointed to the empty male guest seat. "Isn't it strange that there is one less person in the male guest seat? It's not because our program is not popular and no one comes. The empty seat is to welcome an awesome male guest!"

The male guests who participated in this show were all elites, and the program group had treated them equally. Now an awesome male guest was going to fight alone, which aroused everyone's curiosity. How awesome was this guest?

The host didn't keep everyone guessing. Instead, he began to introduce the male guest as if he was reading lines. "He graduated from Massachusetts Institute of Technology at the age of 22, received an MBA from Harvard at the age of 25, and a DBA from Harvard at the age of 28. During his doctoral studies, he served as an executive director of three companies, a permanent director of one company, and was responsible for the development of another company. Have you ever seen such an awesome man?"

The audience shook their heads.

"Today, let me show you the awesome guy I just mentioned. Please welcome Mr. Roland Wang!"
