Darling, Don't Get Rid of Me

Chapter 80 It’s None of Your Business

Suddenly Harriet felt hopeful when she heard a clear male voice, "Harriet!"

Looking around, Keith was looking at Harriet with delight.

If others saw Wesley who was present unhappily at the moment, they would leave after greeting. But Keith was like a child, and went to talk with Harriet.

"Harriet, I am glad to see you again." Then, he turned to look at Wesley, "Mr. Smith, are you talking business?"

Harriet felt embarrassed.

"We..."

She wanted to find a legitimate excuse, but was interrupted by Wesley, "It's none of your business."

Wesley did not hesitate to say that.

However, without leaving, Keith said eloquently, "Mr. Smith, Harriet is my friend, I just care about her."

Harriet immediately got up and said, "Keith, I have something to talk about with Mr. Smith, and I'll talk to you another day."

Of course, Keith understood that Harriet wanted him to leave. Then he said with grievance, "Well... Harriet, you can come to me if you have any trouble."

Then, he whispered, "If he bullies you, you can come to tell me."

Harriet took him for a child. Then she turned to look at Wesley and found that Wesley became more seriously than before. But she felt sorry that she failed to persuade him because of Keith. "Mr. Smith, Keith is just a minor. So just forgive him."

Wesley's deep eyes showed a hint of irony, "How can you make sex with a minor?"

Harriet turned slightly pale, "Wesley, what do you mean by that?”

Wesley stood up, tucking her tiny chin in a warning voice, "Harriet, I give you free, but you are not allowed to make sex with others."

"I didn't." Harriet calmly replied, "I just make friends with him because of filming, and that's all. I hope you won't make assumptions just because we have met several times."

Then Wesley let go of her and walked out of the restaurant without looking back.

Harriet followed obediently, except that one hand caught her just as she was about to walk out the door.

"Harriet, is Mr. Smith bullying you? I find that both of you look unhappy." Keith said. He did not leave immediately, but stayed for a while out of fear.

Harriet immediately withdrew her hand and said with a serious face, "Keith, this is my private affair. Please don't ask too much about it."

Perhaps it was the first time that Harriet became angry with him. Then Keith's eyes were a little hazy, as if he had suffered a great grievance, "Harriet, I just worry about you...I'm sorry, do you hate me? It's my meddling that has made you unhappy."

Looking at Keith, Harriet felt sorry, so she turned to be at ease.

"I do not blame you. But there should be limits between friends. As friends, sometimes it is better not to be over enthusiastic, or it may cause unnecessary trouble to others, get it?"

"Yeah, I get it." Keith nodded.

Looking at Harriet's leaving figure, Keith became unsatisfied. He clenched his fists until the black car disappeared into the traffic. Then he said, "Uncle Nick, what is the relationship between Harriet and Mr. Smith?"

In the corner, Uncle Nick came forward with a frown on his face, "It seems that they are good friends, or they are..."

In fact, they were liked lovers.

If Harriet and Wesley were just talking about work, no one would believe that. What business did a CEO have with an uncool starlet?

"Or what?" Keith asked obstinately.

Uncle Nick said, "Your master, that's fate and you should not force."

It seemed that Harriet had such a strong connection with Wesley. So Uncle Nick tried to persuade Keith.

"And what if I must insist?" Keith lowered his voice, sounding rather gloomy.

In an apartment of the Smiths-

"Wesley, I'm not feeling well, don't do that!"

At the moment, Harriet was awkwardly pinned to the bed by the man, but she was struggling and saying refusal words.

Wesley leaned over her with a sneer on his thin lips, "Harriet, is it that you've been so indulgent these days that you've forgotten who you are?" Harriet turned pale.

"Wesley, don't make me hate you!" She could not break free, so she could only use words to restore the last bit of dignity for herself.

Wesley pulled her hands over her head and leaned down, with his face grim.

"Haven't you always hated me?"

Although Harriet had known that Wesley would be punished in this way, it never occurred to her that this time he had robbed her without giving her any explanation and without patience. After having sex, Wesley left the room without a trace of lingering, leaving only Harriet with her red eyes.

Lying on the bed sadly, she helplessly gathered herself and dialed a strange telephone number.

"Is that Mr. Brown speaking? I've taken the apartment."

Then he answered, "OK, the room has been cleaned for you, you can check in at any time. I am looking forward to your arrival."

"Thank you."

By hanging up, Harriet had swallowed her discomfort and put herself in a warm tub of water. She wanted to wash away all the Wesley sniffs! White fog swirled around the bathroom, and the hot, damp space made Harriet feel dizzy and she couldn't help but close her eyes...

On the other hand, Wesley was driving fast. Then he became little worried. So he stopped at an intersection.

At the moment, his phone rang. It's Jack.

"Mr. Smith, Molly is not willing to leave, and she wants to meet Miss. Clark."

Wesley looked cold and said, "You have to report that to me?"

Jack was speechless for a while.

After all, he knew clearly what Wesley did for Harriet these days. Thus, in his opinion, if some thing about Harriet happened, he must tell Wesley.

"Sorry, I'll deal with it." Jack hurried to replied.

After stopping at the road, Wesley turned around and turned back.

Thinking of Harriet's sad expression when he left, he became worried.

When he came to the apartment again, Wesley found the house unusually quiet and followed the sound of the water. He saw Harriet in the bathtub, whose face was abnormally red. And she was obviously in a coma!000
