Belinda did not immediately explode. She inquired, "May I ask if Hunter Clark is here?"

"Who? Who's looking for me?"

Hunter happened to come out of the bathroom, having just finished showering.

Holding a dry towel to wipe his hair, he asked upon hearing the question.

When he saw his wife standing at the door, Hunter was dumbfounded.

He thought he was seeing things and quickly rubbed his eyes. Looking again, he still saw his wife's face, well-maintained but marked by the traces of age.

"Darling, she's looking for you."

The woman stepped aside and addressed Hunter.

In her heart, she guessed that Hunter's wife had come looking for him.

She honestly could not care less. She lost count of the number of these men's wives who came knocking on her door.

As long as she did not get involved with men from high society, her true financial backers would not find out.

After all, her main sponsor rarely came to see her. He had many women around him, and he might have forgotten about her. Fortunately, he had not cut off her allowance, so she could still walk around claiming to be one of his favorite women, and nobody would dare to harm her.

"Hey, old fart, you were the one who claimed to like me so much! You gave me expensive gifts, treated me to meals, tried to please me, and even gave me a lot of pocket money. I only reluctantly got together with you, because of your shameless pursuits! How could you accuse me of seducing you?

The woman retorted, walked over, and huffed a puff of smoke in Hunter's face before speaking to Belinda, "You're his wife? You're so old that your husband finds you unattractive and lacking charm. He said that he likes someone young and beautiful like me. Even if I weren't here today, I'm sure some other young lady would take my place.

"You better control your man, old hag. Don't give me the stink eye, I'm the mistress of a tycoon. Your husband tried to seduce me. If he hears about this, you and your husband will get what's coming." After saying her piece, the woman tried to push past Belinda and leave.

Belinda reached out, grabbed the woman's wrist, and pulled her back. Slap!

Belinda did not care whose mistress that woman was; anyone who dared to snatch her man deserved to die!

She was relentless, striking from left and right. She was so quick that the woman could not react when her face was assaulted by a barrage of slaps, leaving it red and swollen with blood dripping from the corners of her mouth.

After giving a few good slaps, Belinda kicked the woman in the stomach, sending her tumbling back onto the ground.

Seeing this, Hunter knelt down in front of his wife.
