Cupid's Arrow hit me hard!

Chapter 2565

Martin smiled and said, "Indeed this is a good thing, a huge and wonderful thing. We're very happy. It's getting late, Callum. Take Camryn inside to complete the paperwork. The staff will be getting off work soon."

Prompted by their parents, Callum held Camryn's hand while accepting the household registration permit that Rosella handed over along with the ring he had ordered in advance. Together with Camryn, he entered the city hall.

Martin and Rosella waited outside for the two to come out.

He tilted his head and said to his wife, "This reminds me of when we came here to get married thirty-two years ago. It feels like just yesterday, but in the blink of an eye, our eldest son has also walked in here. Time flies, and we are growing old."

With Rosella's hand in his, he said, "I've said it before, we will grow old together."

Rosella was moved. She said, "Yes, time really flies. I always feel like I'm only eighteen, but my son is already thirty. We are getting older, and we can't deny it."

"You don't look old at all. In my eyes, you are like Aphrodite, forever young and beautiful."

Rosella had taken exceptional care of her body, and standing next to Callum, people might think they were siblings.

Although Martin had also taken good care of himself, due to his previous heavy involvement in the family business and various other responsibilities, he had some gray hair.

After retirement, at Rosella's repeated request, he dye his hair black.

Even so, he still seemed to be a decade older than his wife when they stood side by side, despite only being a year apart.

Rosella chuckled at her husband's compliments. "I'd like to be eighteen every year too, but unfortunately, I can't. No matter how well I take care of myself, I will still gradually grow old." "I'll grow old together with you, so don't worry. I'm even older than you."

Rosella chuckled, "I'm not worried. As long as you're by my side, I've nothing to worry about."

He said something similar to her when they married all those years ago.

Several decades had passed, and his words still reverberated in her ears. He had kept his promise all these years.

On this day, their son was finally getting married. They hoped that the young couple's journey together would be just as joyous and enduring as theirs had been.

As Callum and Camryn walked out of City Hall having registered their marriage, the heartwarming sight of their parents embracing each other greeted them.

The young couple could not help but stop and watch his parents who had been in love for over three decades expressing their affection for one another. "Camryn, we'll be just like Mom and Dad, growing old together with undying love."

Camryn nodded with agreement and said, "I really admire your parents' marriage. It inspires me to try to achieve the example they have set for us."

Facing her newly minted husband, she extended her right hand toward Callum. She smiled and said, "Callum, I look forward to spending the rest of my life with you. Please guide me along this journey."

"Likewise."

Callum held her hand and pulled her into his embrace, leaning down to snatch a kiss.

The husband and wife pressed their foreheads together, their eyes filled with deep affection.

After a moment, Callum locked fingers with Camryn and walked toward his parents.

"Dad! Mom!"

Callum called out.

Camryn followed suit.

Rosella's face radiated with a smile as bright as the sun. As she was talking to her son and daughter-in-law, she reached into her purse and took out a pair of matching charms. As she handed them over, she said, "These are charms for the both of you. Congratulations on getting married, and may happiness and blessings be upon your lifelong journey."

Martin also gave the couple a pair of envelopes.

Within each envelope was a bank card. As for how much money was in them, Camryn did not know.

She was thankful for the gifts she received from her parents-in-law.
