Cupid's Arrow hit me hard!

Chapter 2555

Carrie was shocked.

The house did belong to Camryn.

It was her family that had been occupying Camryn's house all along.

She remembered that her family owned other houses, but none of them were as big as this villa. They were used to living there, and Camryn's presence was nearly nonexistent. Even the maid could bully her. Who would have cared that the house belonged to her?

Camryn took the title deed from Carrie's hands.

Then, she called the butler and ordered, "Bring someone up to get Carrie out."

"Camryn, who said this house belongs to you? The name on the title deed is my mom's. This is my mom's house, so it's mine by extension too. You're the one who's supposed to get out."

Camryn had an ambiguous smile. She said, "I've regained my sight after Dr. Carden's treatments, Carrie. Do you think I can't read? The name on the title deed is mine.

"Your family has never paid a single penny all these years. You should leave the stuff in your room behind as payment for twenty years of rent."

Carrie's eyes widened. "You can see?"

The blind girl had regained her sight.

Many doctors were unsuccessful. It was unbelievable that Dr. Carden could cure her.

Why did Camryn continue to pretend that she was blind?

"You lied to me, Camryn!"

She figured everything out despite her stupidity.

Camryn had misled her into thinking that she was still blind and allowed her into the house to unlock the room and safe. Her aim had been passwords to the door and safe all along. Carrie did not have her guard up when she was keying the passwords and allowed Camryn to watch her. Camryn probably had the passwords memorized.

That blind girl had a good memory.

She had relied on the number of steps to find her way. If she were forgetful, she would not be able to remember the step count and get lost easily.

Camryn's good memory and sharp senses had allowed her to live like a normal person in familiar places.

Camryn watched Carrie. "So what? You often lied to me in the past too."

Carrie glared at her.

However, she reacted quickly and tried to get more cash from the safe.

Everyone in the house was on Camryn's side. She could not fight Camryn alone.

If Camryn were still blind, Carrie would have a higher possibility of winning. Right then, however, she stood no chance.

She had to get the money before she was chased out.

She would need the money. Without it, her cousins' attitudes toward her differed greatly compared to the past.

Whenever she had a meal at her aunts' place, they would keep complaining about the rising costs of groceries and that they lacked the means to prepare better food for her. They were indirectly asking her for money.

They wanted her to improve their situation after she claimed back what was hers. For one, buying a house for each family so they no longer had to live in a rented house.

Carrie had some money on her card, but it was better to get more cash.

Camryn let Carrie take the money.

When the butler came upstairs with some others, Camryn said, "Take the cash from her. It belongs to my family. Don't let her get away with any cash. Once she's out, no one is allowed to let her enter without my permission."

"This money belongs to my parents, Camryn. How can you say it belongs to your family? Do you have no shame? My parents are the reason that you own this much money. "Don't take my money. It's mine!"
