Cole: Chapter 17
To be fair, I wasn’t sure what I expected. Well, that was a lie. I knew exactly what I expected. What I expected was to ride over to Molly’s place, pick her up outside, and whisk her away to another fun evening where I got to lay with her in my arms by the end of the night and wake up to her smiling face in the morning.
But that wasn’t remotely what I got.
What I got instead was a jaw scraping across cement as I eased my bike into its proper space. What I got instead was a woman in at least five-inch heels with her hand on her hip and her other hand clutching a small purse that sparkled in the light the sky afforded us. What I got was a beautifully curvy vixen clad in a strapless red dress that barely brushed against her knees.
What I got was a mouth full of Santa Cruz breeze as I watched Molly saunter my way in the sexiest outfit I’d ever had a woman don for simple old me.
“Holy fuck,” I murmured.
She giggled. “Not too much?”
I shook my head slowly. “Get the fuck on this bike before we don’t make it out of here.”
The way she winked at me stiffened my cock against my jeans before her free hand rushed up my arm. She gripped my shoulder and leaned into my ear, her lips brushing softly against the shell of my ear. I had no idea what it felt like to be seduced, especially since I was usually the one sweet-talking women out of their clothes.
But when she whispered against my ear, I knew what it meant to quiver in my knees for a woman.
“Let’s make this quick, shall we? I’ve got a mattress that’s growing cold without us.”
She tossed her leg over my bike like she’d been riding the damn thing for years, and as I shifted my cock around through my jeans as best as I could, she clung to me as she climbed on. Her arms slithering around my waist made me growl as I struck up my engine, and I couldn’t pull out of that apartment complex quickly enough.
But that didn’t remotely stop the surprises that kept coming for the entire evening.
As we rode around with the wind whipping through our hair, her grip around my waist got tighter. It was as if I were her last pillar of energy and she was attempting to suck the life-force right out of me. And I didn’t hate it one bit. For the first time in my life, I wasn’t concentrated on what was to come, nor was I thinking about work. I simply existed in this world where the only three things happening were the fact that my bike rumbled between my legs, the wind whipped through my tendrils, and a woman that had stolen my heart clutched me as tightly as she could so I wouldn’t go anywhere.
Which was exactly why we arrived at my house before I took her for food.
“What are we doing here?” Molly asked.
I practically leapt off my bike and scooped her into my arms. “You’ll see.”
She squealed. “Cole! What in the wor—”
I burst through my front door. “You didn’t think you’d be able to tease me and get away with it, right?”
I used her back to close the front door before I reached down and locked it. Our eyes held each other as I rolled my hips against her, my cock hardening with every move. The heat of her pussy bombarded me from between her legs as she slid her hands through my hair. Her clutch fell to the floor beside us as she shoved my leather jacket off my shoulders, and the second our lips connected nothing else mattered.
None of our plans—or the need for food, or even the guys—mattered.
“Fuck,” she whispered.
I unbuckled my pants enough to shove them down to my knees, and the second my cock sprung free it leaked with need for her. I pushed her dress up, listening to her gasp and moan and beg for me as I pulled her panties off to the side. And after I captured her lips in a searing kiss, her other set of lips engulfed my cock.
As I slid deep inside of her warm, wet depths.
I’m home.
That was what it felt like every time I sank my body against hers. It felt like coming home, and I never wanted it to stop. I pounded against her, our lungs breathing the air we afforded each other as pictures started falling off the walls around us. Glass shattered as the sounds of skin slapping skin filled the spaces between us. The walls rumbled and clattered with every furious movement as Molly clawed at my clothed back. I sucked her lower lip between my teeth. I nibbled against the pulse point of her neck. I marked her in every way I could as my balls pulled into my body, in tandem with her pussy fluttering around my girth.
“Cole. Fuck. Yes. I’m so close. Don’t stop, please.”
I came up for air and whispered against her lips. “I won’t ever stop. Never.”
We unraveled against one another, our bodies tossing themselves over the edge as we clung to each other. Her head fell against the door as her body went limp against my own, her pussy milking my dick as I shivered against her. I buried my face against the warm crook of her neck, breathing in her scent and committing every single part of her to memory.
Because nothing ever turned out the way we might hope.
“God, I’m hungry,” Molly said breathlessly.
I chuckled as I pulled my cock from between her legs. “You still up for going out. Or do you want to order in?”
She giggled. “I suppose that depends on what delivers out here to you.”
I kissed the tip of her nose. “There’s Chinese.”
She captured my lips. “Mmmm, maybe not tonight.”
I kissed her cheek. “There’s also pizza.”
She nuzzled her nose against mine. “Maybe some other time.”
I kissed her forehead. “There’s also a Mexican place about five minutes down the road that delivers here. And their tacos are amazing.”
She hummed with satisfaction. “Mmmm, tacos. I could go for some tacos right now.”
I chuckled. “Then, it’s settled. But first? A shower.”
She sighed. “Well, as much as I’d love to do something like that, I am on a schedule tonight.”
I furrowed my brow. “Why?”
She swatted at me before I set her back down onto her feet. “Why do you think? I took today off from work to spend with you, but I have to be at the children’s house bright and early in the morning to work. That’s why.”
I sighed playfully. “Fiiiiine. But if we’re skipping straight to eating? We’re doing it in bed, and naked. There’s a reason why I have a television in my room, you know.”
She blinked. “You have a television in your room?”
I barked with laughter. “Come on, you crazy thing, you.”
The evening was as spectacular as any other sort of date I’d ever been on with a woman, and we didn’t even have to go anywhere. I got our food ordered and Molly found a marathon of crime television shows on my cable box, and I found myself oddly intrigued. We cuddled naked and fed each other tacos as we accused people in pseudo-documentaries of being murderers and kidnappers.
But once the food was gone, it was time for us to get dressed and for me to take her home.
“You sure you don’t wanna pack a bag and just head out for work from my place in the morning? It really won’t be an issue,” I said.
Molly climbed onto the back of my bike. “As wonderful as that sounds, you know I’d never make it to work if I stayed. I have no self-control when it comes to you.”
I grinned. “At least I’m not the only one.”
And like I said, sometimes things never do pan out the way someone expects.
As I struck up my bike and pulled out of my driveway, it didn’t take me long to notice someone tailing us. As a member of the Dirty Misfits, one of the first things I learned underneath Hyde’s instruction was to know when I was being tailed. There were signs to watch for, like a car or a truck that kept reappearing whenever you turn corners. Or someone in a vehicle who kept pulling up to you and looking over. Or someone who followed you turn-for-turn, eventually going away and then coming back with a vengeance.
Ours was the latter.
And it didn’t take me long to pick out the black leather jacket the two people were clad in as they followed us around in some beat-up, rustbucket of a van.
Can they be anymore obvious?
“Where are you going?” Molly asked.
I took a sharp right and lost the van at the red light. “Just hang tight. I’m taking a slightly longer way since I can’t have you tonight. That all right?”
She giggled and nestled closely against my back. “That’s perfectly fine. You take whatever way you want.”
I was glad she agreed to the alternative pathway, because those fuckers found us a lot sooner than I would have wanted. I weaved in and out of alleyways, trying to lose that damn tail that clearly had motives beyond figuring out what I was doing.
I mean, I had a gorgeous woman on the back of my bike and they rode in a van.
It didn’t take a genius to figure out what the hell was going on.
She’s at risk if I stay with her.
I kicked it up a notch, heading for the highway so I could kick it into high gear. But the faster I drove to get away from that fucking van, the tighter she clung to me.
“Uh, Cole?” she asked, her voice cracking and wobbling.
“What’s up, beautiful?”
“Do you have to go so fast?”
She gave me a little giggle that was probably meant to settle me down a bit, but I knew she was scared. I felt it in the way she clung to me and in the way her voice wavered. I looked for any exit I could take as the van quickly crept up behind us. I chewed on my lower lip, looking for a way out of this bullshit before the beautiful left-hand exit came into view.
I ended up cutting across four lanes of traffic to take the left-lane exit, and Molly practically shrieked in my ear as I did so.
Thankfully, however, I lost the damn tail after that.
“Well, that was some ride,” she said breathlessly.
I took one last look around me before I turned into her apartment complex and made my way to her building. I felt confident that I had shaken the tail, but that still didn’t protect Molly. If those Black Magic Fuckers had already done enough digging into my life to find her in it, then there was only one thing I could do to really protect her.
God, forgive me for this, because she never will.
Like I said, things never panned out the way we wished they would.
