Chasing The Broken CEO

I smirked when I noticed how his jaw clenched. I knew it. He didn't like what I said but I don't give a damn at all! I wanted to be clear with him that I am not the kind of a woman who will just sit back and let him play around with my feelings. I may be young but I know my rights and where I should stand.

He looked at me with the familiar anger evident in his eyes. If only his stares could kill, I would be dead by this time. Maybe because of the drinks I've drank that I've became too brave and proud in front of him, despite the way he stared at

Irish managed to walk towards us. She was smiling carefully at me. Evan turned to her when he felt her presence beside him.

"Is there a problem?" she asked Evan and then gazed at me. "Hi! My name is Irish Esquivel. I hope everything is going well here..."

She offered her hand to me for a shake hands. I'm kind of torn whether I would accept her hand or not, knowing that I am mad at her too for some unknown reason. I mean, how can they even face me right now?

"Irish, her name is Risha Nathalie. She's my girlfriend," Evan introduced me to her first love in a formal tone.

I shook my head. "No, baby. Fiancee..." I corrected him and then glared at his first love, "I am his fiancee. It's nice to finally meet you, Irish. I heard that you are Evan's ex-girlfriend. Is that right?"

Irish laughed a bit and then she nodded. I raised an eyebrow and I felt that my anger escalated quickly when she grinned at me. Is she trying to piss me off?

"Yeah! I am Evan's ex-girlfriend," she said, grinning devilishly.

My jaw clenched and I felt my body shaking because of the anger that is eating me up. She's irritating the beast in me!

I was about to pull her hair but Evan held me in my arms. Irish stepped back and was still smiling playfully at me. My face heated abruptly. Why the hell is she smiling like this?

"Irish, can you please stop pissing her off?" Evan warned her.

"Your girlfriend looks very cute when she's getting jealous, Evan. I want to pinch her cheeks badly!" Irish laughed and then she went closer to me and pinched my cheeks so damn hard. "I am not a threat, little Missy! I am already in contract with someone!"

"Ouch! What the hell!" I shoved her hand away. What was that for? She's hurting me!

She looked at me playfully. "It's nice meeting you, Nathalie."

"Irish..." another voice of a man have spoken behind us.

"Nate!"

"I will drive you home, Risha. Can you walk?" Evan asked me carefully.

My eyes felt weak already but I still managed to look at the guy who is now talking to Irish. Evan just blocked the view though.

"You're really naughty..." he said warily.

I was shocked when he suddenly carried me. I felt my heart pounding aggressively because of what he did. I snaked my arms around his neck and then felt the sudden dizziness because I felt like floating in the air. Damn it! I've drank a lot of tequila!

"She's really cute, Evan." Sei commented. "You guys take care!"

"Wait... Where's Chandria?" I asked Evan but his face looked grumpy already.

Wait! Is he mad at me? I should be the one to feel that way! He came here with his ex-girlfriend! Why the hell is he getting grumpy towards me?

"Sei, do you know her friend personally?"

"Yeah, I know her. I can take care of her friend."

"Great, thanks. We'll leave for now," said Evan and then I felt him walking.

Wow! Isn't he going to say goodbye to Irish, his first love?

He walked directly to the exit door of the bar. I shivered when I felt the cold air embracing my skin. I suddenly felt uncomfortable now that we're the only ones here. What should I tell him this time? I'm way too drunk that I told bad things earlier.

Damn it! Did I just admit that I am drunk?

"Where are we going?" I asked him when I finally felt the soft seat of his car.

"Rish, that woman is getting married..."

"That... doesn't answer my question," I uttered slowly. I yawned and tried to open my eyes again.

Our eyes met. I saw him smiling at me. I could feel his mint breath on my face. The smell of his aftershave and perfume were enough to make me feel awake and alive. Why does he look so handsome even when I am drunk?

"And I am getting married too..." he chuckled sweetly.

"Still..." I yawned again. "That doesn't answer my question..."

"Sleep, Risha. We can talk more about it once you're sober."

"I can't go home. Daddy will definitely kill me... He doesn't know that I am..." I gasped. "Drinking..."

He let out a heavy sigh. "Alright, I got you. Now, sleep..."

Wait...

I looked on the side of the bed and saw the familiar side table. My forehead immediately creased. There's something wrong with it. Like a certain thing is missing on there.

I must be dreaming. Why would I even end up inside his room? I was having so much fun last night with Chandria and then all of a sudden- what the fuck!

"You're finally awake," he said in a husky voice.

"Why am I here?" I asked, confused while my heart is pounding aggressively inside my chest.

I heard his movement and a sound of a liquid pouring on a glass. Fuck! Isn't he going to get dressed first? I closed my eyes and groaned in silence. I felt my sweats forming on my forehead even though his room is freaking cold. "You begged to sleep here," he replied that made my jaw literally dropped on the floor.
