Yvette answered the call . 

“ Josiah ? ” Her voice sounded cheerful , with a teasing tone .

“ Mr.

Flynn , you’re always so busy .

Why are you calling me ? What’s going on ? ”

” Josiah hesitated for a moment , thinking about Howard , still unconscious .

His brow furrowed deeply as he struggled to find the right words . 

Finally , he spoke in a firm tone .

From now on , don’t mess with my phone 

“ What ? ” Yvette immediately sh 

shifted to a cold , distant tone .

Her smile froze .

“ What are you talking about I … I don’t understand what you mean :” 

“ Yvette , ” “ Josiah took a moment to choose his words carefully , before deciding to just tell her the truth .

“ My phone has a program that can recover deleted call logs .

” 

Upon hearing this , Yvette paused , realizing instantly what had happened .

He had figured out that she had taken Henry’s call and deleted the record . 

She didn’t try to deny it .

“ Yeah , I did take a call from Mr.

White .

And now you’re questioning me over something so trivial ? ” 

Josiah didn’t answer directly but simply said , “I expect you to respect me .

Don’t let this happen again .

” 

With that , Josiah ended the call .

This was the first time in all these years that he had ever criticized her . 

Suddenly , he closed his eyes and leaned back in his chair .

The backrest pressed against him , feeling hot and uncomfortable . 

A subtle pain followed, as memories flashed through his mind , and sweat began to form on his forehead . 

Meanwhile , Yvette was stunned .

She sat there for a while , holding her phone , and then let out a mocking laugh .

“ How did he know ! And he actually managed to recover the deleted records ? Is this really such a big deal ? ” she thought to herself . 

Yvette smirked quietly .

“ Why ? ” 

She wondered , “ Wasn’t it his idea to blacklist Sienna in the industry ! And now he’s accusing me just because 1 touched his phone ? Interesting- 

Has he really forgotten what happened back then ? Has living well for so long made him think he’s some big shot !
