The nurse caught her at the door, lifting her up. “Hedtime, girl. You know the drill, right?”

Josiah stood there, watching them walk away. He touched the spot on his cheek where the little one had kissed him and let out a soft chuckle.
“Mr. Flynn!” Zach came back, panting from searching everywhere. “Where did you got I looked all over for you.”
“Let’s get moving,” Josiah said, keeping it brief. He was rubbing his forehead, feeling under the weather. As it turned out, after seeing the doctor, he ended up in the hospital.

After wrapping up at Tasty Bites, Cedric drove Sienna to the intersection at Lyceum Street
Sienna jumped out of the car. “You can leave me here. You’ve got to get to the airport,” she mentioned. With his suitcase allready in the trunk, he was ser to head straight there.
“Bye now,” Sienna said casually, swinging her bag onto her shoulder and waving a quick goodbye.
“Sienna” Cedric shouted just as she started to walk away.

“I’m not pushing you for an answer right this second,” Cedric clarified, not expecting her to respond immediately. “I just figured you might want to think about it. We’re doing pretty well, aren’t we?”
Seated silent, and Cedric didn’t appear disappointed.

Sienta stood there, deep in thought, mulling over whether to get serious with him after coming back from Flirty
Cedric was cruising not noticing the car tailing him. As he passed Lyceum Street the car sped up and cut him off
Cedric was caught off guard and
a quickly stepped out of his car. Xenia also got out of the car in front of him.
“Mom!” Cedric wasn’t too surprised. “What brings you here?”
“Cedric“ Xenia glanced at the car her son was driving and frowned. “Is this really the life you want! Working for others, doing it all yourself, and now driving a bear–up car“.
“Whats wrong with this life” Cedric shrugged. “Your abilities shape your life. I don’t see a problem with that”
Xenia was so ticked she couldn’t even find words. She thought for sire Cedric would be back. begging for mercy after she kicked him out and cut ham off she cured he couldn’t handle the rough stuff and would come crawling back.
But he didn’t. Cedric dug in his heels. And things just got more intense, he was all in with Sienna, ready to ride it out
“Cedric,” Xenia said, grabbing his arm. She knew being tough wasn’t gesting through, so she switched gears. “Sienna’s not right for you. I just want what’s best for you. You’re young and you might change your mind. A woman of loose morals like her-
“Mom” Cedric interrupted her harsh remarks, his face getting serious
“Youre a woman too. Do you really think it’s cool to talk about another girl like that? Sienna’s just been through a divorce, she has done anything wrong” he added.
After a pause, he shook his head, clearly disappointed. “Enough, Mom. I’m with Sienna, and that’s not changing”
“No, Cedric, my son…” Xenia murmured sofity.
“Mom” Cedric let out a breath, gently pulling away from Xenia. “I gotta go.” He turned and got into his car.
“Code” Xenia called out, watching as he drove away, leaving her there. She stamped her foot in frustration.
“That’s not changing, huh! Hmph… my son, don’t make promises you can’t keep!” she sneered.
Two days later, the Lightning Dance crew was on their way to Flirty. Even after hours of travel, Sienna was still wide awake–she was on the verge of meeting Joyce.
Bubbling with excitement, she whipped out her phone, snapped a pic at the airport gate, and posted it. [Flirary, here I come!]
Meanwhile, at a hospital in Fliraty. Josiah uw the post on his phone.
“Sienna’s coming to Flirary? Oh right, she’s on tour. She looks so happy. She’s only unhappy around me.” Just thinking about it made Josiah restless. Heipped his phone face down in irritation, then changed his mind and picked it up again.
He visited the Lightning Dance ticket site, searching for the “Fliraty show. Since h himself he just wanted to relax and enjoy the performance.

The dance crew rolled into Fliraty a little after 7 PM. Luckily, it wasn’t too late. Sienna was bouncing with excitement; she missed Joyce like crazy
“Rosie,” Sienna said, “could you grab my bags and take them up to my room! I gotta dash off somewhere first.”
“You got it” Rosie replied, not asking questions. Just call me when you’re back, and I’ll come find you”
“Thanks,” Sienna said, grabbing a small bag—it was a gift for Joyce.
