A week later, Cedrit reimmed front Lockage His birthday party happened to fall on the weekend.
He had originally planned to pick Sienna up from 12th Avenue, but she had declined She wasn’t at home at the time During the weekend, she had already arranged to meet with Derk for a few extra scenes to film.
So, she got the address from Cedric, and after finishing at the se she took a cals over. The traffic was a bit heavy, so she arrived a little later than planned.
The server led hes in, and by the time she entered, the party had already started. The place was lively
Sienna spotted Cedric in the crowd, but he was busy, so she diel want to disturb him. She found a seat and sat down. The people around her were all young faces.
Sienna quietly breathed a sigh of relief. Thankfully, there were no older folks around.
“Well, well, who do we have here?” Suddenly, a group of three or four people approached, with the leader, Keyla, crossing her arms and smiling maliciously. It was Keyla.
Sienna frowned, planning to thove to another spot. She and Keyla had never gotten along, and she didn’t want

“Where do you think you’re going?” But as soon as she stood up, Keyla blocked her way with her arm. “Sienna, long time no ce. Why don’t we have a little chat?”
It was clear she was just looking for trouble. Sienna held back her impatience. “Move aside. There’s nothing for us to talk
about.
“What do you mean? There’s nothing to talk about? Keyla sneered. “How about you start by explaining why you’re so thick- skinned? Mrs. Flynn might indulge you, but this is a private birthday party,
“You’re just an adopted daughter of the Flynn family, yet you really think you’re on the same level as us, huh?”
One of the women standing nearby whispered, “I think Josiah’s here too.
“Oh Keyla raised an eyebrow, thinking she had figured it out. So, you’re here to chase after Josiah, huh? Hey, you’re not just shameless. You’ve got no shame at all.
The others exchanged looks and snickered.
“Go ahead, and tell us why you’re here. What, did Mr. Flynn dump you? Is that why you’re here fishing for a rich husband” she pressed.
“Dream on,” she mocked.
“Like climbing the social ladder,” she added.
Sienna shut her eyes briefly, deciding to ignore them, ready to speak up when….
Enough” A deep voice cut through the mocking laughter of the group
Everyone froze, then turned to look. A group had just entered the room. Cedric, Josiah, Yosef, and even Yvette were all there.
Keyla stared at Josiah’s face, her mouth slightly open as she muttered, “Josiah…”
She wasn’t sure if he heard her, probably not, since Josiah had his chin slightly raised, his eyes lowered, and no expression

on his face.
It was Cedric, however, who strode over to Sienna. In one swift move, he grabbed her wrist. Sienna was taken aback, feeling slightly uncomfortable, but didn’t pull away.
“You… Cedric’s handsome face darkened, storm clouds now gathering in his gaze as he looked at Keyla and the others. He spoke sharply, “You will apologize to Sienna, Now”
“What?” The group stared at him, wide–eyed. “Apologize to her? Why should we?”
“Why?” Cedric laughed coldly. “Because you’ve been running your mouths, insulting her.”
“Insulting?” Keyla was stunned. “When did 1 insult her?”
She had just made a remark about Sienna, but she hadn’t… “What did I say that was wrong? She’s just an orphan, who knows how she ended up here… she began.
Someone tugged at Keyla’s arm, signaling her to look at Sienna. Keyla froze and finally saw Cedric holding her hand.
“You… you two… Keyla was surprised.
That’s right, Cedric stood protectively in front of Sienna. “Sier is my girlfriend. She’s the person who most deserves to be here today. As for you all…
Cedric’s gaze swept over Keyla and the others. Please leave immediately. I don’t welcome people who talk badly about my girlfriend.”
Sienna was Cedric’s girlfriend. That was a bombshell. Aside from Josiah, everyone in the room was stunned.
“Not leaving?” Cedric didn’t care what they thought. “If you don’t leave now, I’ll have to call security to escort you out.” Once the host spoke, there was no way they could stay. If they kept causing trouble, it would make things awkward. “Fine, we’re going. Keyla bit her lip in frustration, glaring at Sienna before storming toward the exit, fuming.
Her friends were just as upset. “She really knows how to work it, doesn’t she? First Mr. Flynn, now she’s onto Mr. Brawne.”
“Well, if she had no skills, Mrs. Flynn wouldn’t be so sweet on her
“Poor Mr. Brawne..
Keyla couldn’t stand their comments. She spun around angrily. Are you all done? Can we leave already?” She didn’t watch where she was going and stepped on something.
Looking down, she realized she’d stepped on Yvette’s foot “Yvette?” Keyla paled and quickly apologized. “Sorry, sorry! Are you okay?”
“I….”
“Do you think?” Yvette didn’t get the chance to respond before Josiah, standing nearby, glared at Keyla with eyes full of menace like a storm was about to break.
Keyla froze, fear flooding her.
Josiah…” Yvette tugged at his sleeve, speaking quietly. I’m fine. It’s not that bad.”
She gave Keyla a pointed look. “Aren’t you going to leave?”
“Okay” Keyla shivered and took a step back, ready to bolt.

“Hold it.” Josiah’s voice was sharp, and his command froze her in her tracks. “You can’t leave yet.”
Yosef put a hand on Josiah’s shoulder, trying to calm him down, Relax. Yvette said she’s fine. She’s a girl. It’s not a big deal. Let’s just let it go.”
Josiah didn’t respond. Let it go? No way, he wondered. The anger still simmered in him.
Yvette, noticing Josiah’s behavior, glanced at Sienna with a cold look. He was just using her as an excuse to blow off steam.
Sure enough, Josiah raised his eyes to glance at Sienna before turning to Keyla. “Didn’t Cedric tell you to apologize to Sienna? Are you deaf?”
Keyla was stunned, her mouth hanging open in disbelief.
“Still not moving?” Josiah’s voice raised, and his foot stomped so hard that the floor seemed to shake.
“I’m sorry.” Keyla gulped, then quickly turned to Sienna, her tone unexpectedly humble. “Sienna, I’m really sorry, I was out of line earlier. Please don’t be mad.”
“Uh…” Sienna was speechless. This was the first time she’d ever seen Keyla act so subservient. It felt pretty awkward.
“It’s okay,” she said.
“Mr. Flynn.” Keyla seemed to think she’d been given a pass. “Can leave now?”
“Gerlost.” Josiah frowned, clearly annoyed, and waved his hand dismissively.
Keyla shuddered, then turned and practically ran out, her face red and full of embarrassment.
Sienna watched it all and couldn’t help but think, ‘Mr. Flynn sure has a temper… just because Yvette got stepped on?‘ She realized she had benefited from Yvette’s misfortune. Honestly, she didn’t even need that apology.
“I have to ask…” “Thomas, who had been quiet up until now, finally spoke up, his voice unsure. “Sienna, when did you become Cedric’s girlfriend?”
Josiah isn’t planning on going back to Sienna, is he?” wondered Thomas.
