Callous Boss and Awkward Wife

Ko Chen finishes his words and watches Yu Fei's reaction secretly. As he expects, she looks pale and her eye corners become red. "Unimportant people?"

Yu Fei murmurs. Her disappointed look makes Ko Chen's heart break again. But Tan Lin and Gu Yi are still here, and he can't reveal what he truly thinks about.

He glances at Yu Fei, pretending he doesn't care about her at all. He takes out a card from his bag and throws it on the table. He says with an extremely cold voice: "It's my treat today. Never show up in front of me again." When he speaks, his eyes fall on Yu Fei.

Looking into Ko Chen's eyes, Yu Fei feels her brain bombs. She can see clearly that he dislikes and despises her. He seems to warn her to stay away from him.

Yu Fei bites her lower lip, trying to hold back her tears. She fixes her eyes on Ko Chen and asks him with a tremble voice: "Ko Chen. I just have one question for you. Do you think that I am vainglorious and that I only live for money?" It never occurs to her that Ko Chen answers Yes without hesitation.

The "yes" breaks off all the connection of their three years marriage. Yu Fei can barely stand. The blood of her whole body cools down. She can't believe it: her beloved one in front of her thinks about her in that way all the time...... "Enough." Looking at Yu Fei's facial expression, Gu Yi interrupts them. He cannot bear to see Yu Fei suffering like this.

Gu Yi looks at Ko Chen spitefully. His voice is always warm. But now he talks in a cold voice: "Ko Chen. You and Yu Fei are not related any more. You don't have the right to say to her like that."

Just as Ko Chen expects, Gu Yi speaks for Yu Fei. Ko Chen's eyes darken and he retorts back in an unyielding manner: "This is between us. You have nothing to do with it."

"No, it's also my business." Gu Yi holds tightly Yu Fei's hand and raises their hands.

When Ko Chen sees it, his whole body tightens subconsciously.

In Ko Chen's arms, Tan Lin feels his change immediately. Her intuition tells her that Ko Chen still feels something for Yu Fei. He is not so heartless as he said.

"I'm wooing her. She will be my future girlfriend and even wife. Her business is mine."

Gu Yi says it firmly. Hearing his words, Ko Chen feels extremely angry. His anger bursts out in his heart, which takes him great effort to refrain himself from punching him on the face.

Yu Fei also feels surprised when she hears what Gu Yi says. She feels sorry and at the same time, grateful. All her mixed feelings cowd her mind at the same time. Her tears drop off from her reddened eyes instantaneously.

Gu Yi hears the crying from his back. He turns around hurriedly. When he sees that Yu Fei's tears are all over her face, his facial expression becomes gentler. He raises his hand to wipe her tears away. "Don't cry."

Hearing Gu Yi's words, Yu Fei cries even harder. Gu Yi has to keep comforting her.

Ko Chen feels hear-broken when he sees that they two are so intimate. He can hardly control himself. He is eager to separate them, and hold Yu Fei tightly in his arms and comfort her with his soft voice. However, he can't do it because of the hard reality.

Ko Chen sneers at her with a cold voice. "You found your next in such a short period of time, Yu Fei. You are really good at seducing men, aren't you? No wonder you had a child with a random guy three years ago." He says that but means another.

His words are as deleterious as the venom of poisonous snakes.

Although the sunshine is bright outside, Yu Fei feels that she is in the complete dark. She can't see the light. All of a sudden, her ears seem to be covered by a pair of warm hands which bring her from the dark to the light.

Yu Fei gets back to her mind. Gu Yi stands in front of her, looking worriedly. He sees that her eyes focus again, and then he asks hurriedly: "Fei, are you alright?"

Yu Fei is unable to speak. She just keeps staring at Gu Yi without moving her sight.

Seeing her acting like this, Gu Yi becomes even more worried. Ko Chen is paying attention to her secretly. Now he feels anxious as well.

Gu Yi doesn't hesitate. He grabs Yu Fei's hand and says firmly: "Let's leave here."

Then he takes Yu Fei away without looking back

Ko Chen sees their backs disappearing out of his sight quietly. He doesn't stop them.

Tan Lin leaves Ko Chen's arms leisurely when they leave. She adjusts her hair in a graceful manner. The aggrieved look on her face fades away.

Ko Chen doesn't pay attention to her. She feels that clearly. A woman's intuition about her beloved is always accurate.

She stares at him for a couple of minutes. But he seems not notice it and just looks where they have disappeared. His eyes are out of focus. She can't tell what he is thinking about.

It seems that he has just lost his soul, which makes Tan Lin so angry that she almost chews her teeth off. She can't help but clench her fists. Her long nails nail into her palms and she feels a sharp pain.

Tan Lin calls Ko Chen's name with a gentle voice, acting as if nothing has happened. Ko Chen gets back to his mind. At first, he can't fix his eyes on anything. After a few attempts, he gets his eyes fixed on Tan Lin. "Chen, I'm not full yet." The pure smile of Tan Lin's indicates that she doesn't care about the thing at all.

Ko Chen looks at her for two seconds, trying to find out what she is thinking about.

Tan Lin lowers her head. She can feel that he is staring at her without looking. She has her head down and smiles a little bit which can't been seen by Ko Chen. She smiles because nothing can stop her from getting his heart again. She is confident that Ko Chen belongs to her only.

Ko Chen settles his mind and walks to Tan Lin. He takes her hand naturally and says in a light voice: "Let's eat somewhere else."

He acts as if he doesn't care on purpose. He wants Tan Lin to think that he hates Yu Fei.

Growing up with her, no one knows her better than him. If she knows that he loves Yu Fei, she will resort to all kinds of methods to make Yu Fei's life hard. He won't let that happen.

Ko Chen takes Tan Lin to a Japanese restaurant. The two sit on tatami in a private room, facing each other. For some reason, nobody speaks first.

Their courses are served one by one. The waitress in kimono bows when she gets out of the room. Then she closes the sliding door.

There are a few small courses on the table. Tan Lin glimpses at them. She doesn't care about the food. She is on diet because she wants to stay in good shape. She says she is not full just to test Ko Chen's attitude. "Chen, that woman, is your wife?"

Long in silent, Tan Lin asks suddenly.

Ko Chen has anticipated her question. After all, what should come will inevitably come.

When he looks up, he finds her slightly tearful.
