Chapter 1497 I’m Just Getting Married
After breakfast, I said to Atlas, "I'm going upstairs to change. Wait for me, I'll come with you guys. I need to make a quick stop at the company after I drop off the kids. Looks like I'll be busy today." "Okay. Take your time, we'll wait for you," Atlas said softly.
Ten minutes later, the four of us happily got into the car together. After dropping off the children, Atlas drove me to the company.
When I arrived at the company, Carol exclaimed, "Chloe, you're back? Why are you back so soon?"
Her exclamation of surprise brought Ryan and Benny over. They had arrived early at the company.
They were all surprised at how quickly I had returned.
I had come to the company to see Ryan. After chatting with everyone for a while, I went back to my office with Ryan. I gestured for him to sit down as I asked, "Have Mike and the others arrived?" "You gave the decree, so of course they came," Ryan said helplessly.
"I'll go see the new house later," I said quickly.
After asking Ryan about the situation in recent days, he told me everything was going smoothly. All the preparations in Solaris had been completed, and they were ready to start construction at any time. However, he also reported that Mia had taken Lance and her fiancé to visit New Bourdamun.
"Oh? They went to visit?" I asked casually. I didn't pay much attention to it. After all, the construction of New Bourdamun had become a national model.
It was understandable that they would visit it before returning to Foswood for development.
I wanted to talk to Ryan about taking over all the business of architectural development under ATL Empire after the New Year, hoping he could come up with a long-term plan.
After all, I admired the planning team he led. The development plan for Old Bourdamun they had made was exactly what I wanted.
"No problem! I can come up with a preliminary plan and we can discuss it later," Ryan said earnestly.
"But this can wait until after the New Year. Your current focus should be on the wedding. That's your top priority!" I looked at Ryan and reminded him about his wedding seriously.
"Why would I be busy? It's just a little thing. My parents are handling everything. Everyone is running around like headless chickens." He looked at me and said, "It's a waste of resources." "What are you saying? Are your parents getting married?" I retorted.
"I just got back, otherwise I'd give you a vacation." I gave Ryan a preemptive warning. "We're going to Nocturnia for Christmas. We need to take care of something there."
"I'm going to ignore you now," Ryan snorted.
His words made me laugh, and I felt speechless.
"After we come back, we'll go
straight to the wedding. You're al general manager under ATL Empire too. Dont mess up!" I continued to pressure him. "This is not a joke. Atlas thinks that way too. After all, I'll be going on maternity leave in a few months."
"That evil capitalist!" Ryan couldn't help but curse.
I chuckled and tapped the table, "It's no use for you to curse me. Atlas wants you to carry this big responsibility. After the child grows up a little, I might shift the focus away from architectural

development. You can't slack off on such an important company under ATL Empire."
"I'm just getting married. Don't put pressure on me," Ryan said indifferently. "This is my life. Don't try to involve ATL Empire. Did I sell my life to Atlas?"
I laughed, "This isn't about pressure. This is also about ATL Empire's image. Don't let me down, got it?"
Ryan looked at me and smiled. "Why
are you making such a big deal out of it? It's a common thing. Why are we making this so complicated? It would be better for Joyce and me to have a simple wedding. In fact, we both
love that idea!"
"Alright, I'll go see Joyce later. I can't communicate with you. Think about what I said. It'll be launched officially after the wedding. I still have things to do."
"What else do you have to do? Is it serious?" He protested as he sat up straight. "Your butt hasn't even warmed up the chair! You're leaving already?"
I completely ignored his protest and quickly ended our conversation.
