Be Spoiled After Rebirth (Selena and Osvaldo)

Chapter 1545

Chapter 1545 Regaining What Was Lost

"Selena, it's tfor you to go back," cthe sudden words.

With these unexpected words, all the sounds around them suddenly disappeared.

Osvaldo held Selena in his arms, with a fleeting glint of malice in his eyes.

Selena was stunned upon hearing the familiar voice and stood frozen in place.

As if in a dream, she turned around and saw someone even more familiar to her.

Selena's dark eyes widened to their fullest, staring fixedly at the young man in front of her whom she knew so well.

He was still as handsand gentle as ever, with no change except for sthings in his eyes that she couldn't understand.

Stanley's gentle and profound gaze remained fixed on Selena.

He walked step by step towards her, under Osvaldo's cold gaze, and suddenly reached out to hold her in his arms.

He held the familiar person and felt the familiar sweet breath, whispering softly, "I'm sorry."

He was sorry that he had let her die painfully on the battlefield.

He was sorry that he had let her wander alone and suffer so much.

He was sorry that he had only found her now.

Selena's eyelashes were wet with tears as she looked dreamily at the young man in front of her and murmured, "... Stanley?"

Stanley's mouth slightly curved as he looked at her tenderly. "It's me, Selena."

Selena confirmed that this person was real, and her nose suddenly becsour.

This person had witnessed her transformation from a girl to a young woman.

He had been with her all the way, from a fragile girl who was afraid of pain and would cry to a strong and resilient queen.

He had been a participant in her life for the past eighteen years.

He was the last person she saw before she died.

He was the first familiar person she saw after her rebirth.

Selena finally saw her childhood companion, who had accompanied her as she grew up, and a happy smile appeared on her face.

She was about to speak when Osvaldo's dark voice suddenly cover, "Selena, aren't you going to introduce me?"

Selena was taken aback, finally snapping out of her surprise at seeing her childhood friend. She then realized that her posture with

Stanley was too intimate at the moment.

She smiled and patted Stanley's shoulder. "Stanley, letgo."

Stanley's gaze lingered on her bright red wedding dress for a moment, his eyes darkening slightly. He released her hand and

smiled at Osvaldo. "Selena, who is this?"

Selena hooked her arm around Osvaldo's and said to Stanley, "He's Osvaldo, my..." She blushed slightly, glanced at Osvaldo, then

continued, "fiancé."

Then she pointed at Stanley and introduced him to Osvaldo solemnly. "Osvaldo, he's Stanley, my good friend who has been with

Osvaldo smiled faintly and curved his thin lips. "Since he's your good friend, he's also my good friend, and we should treat him

well."

His dark gaze fell on Stanley, and he laughed. "Today is my engagement banquet with Selena. Mr. Soo, please have a few more

drinks."

Stanley said with a smile, "When I arrived in the capital, I heard that the Anderson family's young master and Miss Turner were

getting engaged today. Selena is not Miss Turner, so... there's no need forto have drinks."

Before Osvaldo could speak, Stanley's expression becserious. "Selena, I have something important to tell you."

Selena remembered her promise to Osvaldo and was about to postpone their reunion time. But when she heard Stanley say, "It's

about your mother," her heart sank.

Her mother's health was poor, and she was her only daughter. Selena had been worried about this for a long time.

Stanley had struck a nerve.

Osvaldo saw Selena's face turn pale and her black butterfly-like eyelashes fall over her eyes. He took the initiative to say, "Since

it's about Selena's mother, we can't delay it."

Selena, who was feeling embarrassed, brightened up when she heard Osvaldo's words.

Osvaldo gently touched her hair and smiled. "Just don't forget the two things you promisedwhen you cback."

He leaned in, and his thin lips brushed against her earlobe intimately. "It will require double compensation."

Selena blushed instantly, feeling the warmth of the man's heart. She smiled shyly and said, "Okay."

Stanley looked at her shy and sweet smile, his eyes dimming.

Osvaldo laughed softly and released Selena. "I'll take you there."

Selena was moved by the man's heartfelt words and kissed Osvaldo's cheek on tiptoe. "Okay."

Osvaldo took off his coat and draped it over Selena's shoulders. "It's chilly at night."

After giving sinstructions, he picked up Selena and walked towards the garage.

Stanley watched their backs, his gaze deep and distant.

Osvaldo took Selena to a mansion.

Black Crow and White Crow were standing at the door, waiting.

Black Crow was holding his arms and looked impatient. When he heard the commotion, he looked up and saw Osvaldo carrying

Selena out of the car, with Stanley getting out of another car.

The scene of the three of them standing together made Black Crow feel overwhelmed.

Even the usually calm White Crow had an indescribable expression on his face.

Osvaldo placed Selena on the steps and touched her hair, "Don't stay up late, rest well, and callwhen you're done."

Selena smiled and nodded in response.

Osvaldo withdrew his gaze and looked at Stanley with a mysterious meaning, "My fiancee is not in good health. Please take care of

her, Mr. Soo."

Stanley said calmly, "Selena is irreplaceable to me, and I will naturally take good care of her."

Osvaldo smiled, "Thank you, Mr. Soo."

The two men's gazes met in mid-air and almost at the stime, Osvaldo walked away and Stanley's lips formed a gentle and

elegant smile again.

Selena did not notice the tension between the two men. After watching Osvaldo leave, her relaxed expression disappeared, and

she walked towards the mansion. Stanley followed her half a step behind, calmly and confidently.

Black Crow and White Crow exchanged a glance, both seeing the worry in each other's eyes.

The more gentle Stanley appeared, the more abnormal he seemed to them.

Stanley's experience could not be taken lightly. He had suffered the death of his beloved, endured pain, and wandered outside. It

was already the best result that he did not go insane.

After finally regaining what he had lost, he had yet to see the person, and he saw she he had cared for growing up, wearing a

wedding dress and becoming another man's fiancee in front of him.
