Back in the bedroom, Jean was still immersed in her excitement. Lying in bed with her legs crossed, she was eating an apple while gossiping with Maranda over the phone about what had happened today, and her voice was full of pride. "Maranda, from today onwards, I'm a successful matchmaker. I am so great!" She exclaimed.

"What? Matchmaker? For whom?" Maranda asked with her voice full of curiosity and excitement. She had never picked Jean for a match-making type girl.

"You'll never believe it! It's Moore and the international superstar Vikki. You know what? They turned out to be university classmates, and Vikki has been in love with him for several years now..."

Just as she was busy talking to Maranda about the whole affair, her cellphone was suddenly snatched away by someone.

Jean instantly looked up and saw it was Zed. Wearing a towel, he had just come out of the bathroom with his chest bare.

"What the hell are you doing?" Jean's face got red with fury all of a sudden. She was somewhat annoyed by his behavior and couldn't understand what he was trying to do. "Give my cell phone back. Why did you take it away like that?" She shouted. "You can gossip about everything and everyone. Why do you have to mention Moore and Avery again?" Zed looked terrible with his eyebrows knitted. "Jean, I have told you not to force Moore to do anything he is unwilling to do. Did you forget about that? What the hell were you doing today then? You forced Moore to accept Avery as his girlfriend, didn't you?"

"What? I'm forcing him?" Hearing Zed's words, Jean burst into anger all of a sudden. "Zed, what's wrong with you? You were there with us today. And it was Moore himself who said that he was willing to be Avery's boyfriend. I didn't force him to say yes!"

Seeing that Jean couldn't even realize her own fault, Zed got angrier. 'She's so ridiculous!' he thought. Then he told Jean in a cold voice, "Jean, if you hadn't said all those soft words in front of him, do you really think he would have said yes? Friends? Family members? You are worried about him? You care about him? Blah blah blah! Moore thought that he would be letting you down if he said no. Did he think correctly?

Jean, you are so stupid! Hasn't Moore already told you that he has fallen in love with some other girl? Don't you know that? Then why are you forcing him to be Avery's boyfriend? Now, I know that you like Avery and she is surely a good girl, but it doesn't mean that Moore likes her, too. Don't you understand that? "Zed, what's the matter with you?" Jean was puzzled by Zed's words. She couldn't figure out why Zed was so angry. She frowned and said, "No, Zed. I did this all for Moore. And now Moore has also agreed to be Avery's boyfriend. We should celebrate this, shouldn't we? What on earth is it that you are so mad at? I didn't mean to set you up with Avery, so you don't need to care about this so much."
