The walk to the office isn't that far from the apartment and I make it in time; I pull my suitcase along and head inside. Sophie, the receptionist, looks stunned to see me. "Hayley, I thought you were on holiday for Christmas," she says.

"I was, but I had to come in. Is Mr Norris in?" I asked.

She nods. "Yeah, he is on a call with your brother," she says.

I smile. "Oh, I know, can you do me a favor and come with me? I'm going to need some help with something," I say. "Also, can you put my suitcase behind your desk?"

She smiles. "Yeah, certainly." She places my suitcase behind the desk and she follows me into the office. Mr. Norris looks at me with anger written all over his face, but it changes as soon as he sees me. "Hayley, I didn't know," he says in a hushed tone, but I shake my head.

I look at Sophie. "Shane and Maxine have been in a relationship behind my back since we got together," I said.

She looks back at me in shock. "Hayley, I'm sorry, what can I do?" She asks.

"Well, keep the two of them busy for a little while until Mr Norris tells you, you might want to accidentally leave the voice over the whole building too when Mr. Norris plays the recording, it is one hell of a show," I say to her. I know everyone will hear what I went through, but they both will be sent to prison for the crimes they both have committed, I'm sure of it.

She looks at Mr. Norris, who nods at her; she gives me a quick hug and walks out of the room.

"Hayley," says Harvey's voice on loudspeaker. He sounds pissed off.

"Please tell me you didn't watch that happening," he says.

I look back at Mr. Norris. "I had to watch the whole show, but I have to say I learned a lot," I said.

My Harris looks at me with sympathy written all over his face. "It's okay, Mr. Norris, I'm over it. I was coming back to finish with Shane anyway," I say.

I pull out the documents that Shane sent me to show him and also the memos of the affair, too.

Mr Norris looks more mad now. I asked Harvey what to do and we were about to catch these two horrible bastards.

Mr Norris's mobile ring is Sophie. "Mr. Norris, they are back," she says through gritted teeth.

I look back at him.

I smile. "I will stay here if you don't mind," I say to him and he nods. I know Harvey wants me to leave, but I really want to get this over with.

"Sophie, send them in, also have a half hour more for break, everyone can," he says.

She sends them into the office.

I stand next to Mr. Norris.

I have a text come through from Harvey that his phone is on mute, but he can hear everything and that I'm also brave for standing in the room with these two jackasses. I can't help but smile.

The office door opens to Shane and Maxine, who are smiling when they walk in, but the smiles go as soon as they see me.

"Baby, you're back," Shane says with a hint of shock in his voice. "Why didn't you tell me?"

Just then the recording starts. I look at the pair of bastards and their faces dropped. Maxine looks white and wants to throw up.

The noises of the two of them fucking come on, his voice telling her in every detail about everything that they had planned.

"STOP," shouts Shane and glares at me. "You were spying on me?"

I look at him and smirk. "Well, I can't call it spying when it is my apartment you both were fucking in."

"Hayley, I didn't..." says Maxine, but she stops when I stare at her.

"You didn't what? I don't give a fuck about this creep. You are more than welcome to have the small dick," I said.

Shane glares at me. "You weren't complaining," he says. "You wanted me. You begged me to move in with you and you are such a pathetic slut."

I can't help the snarl that escapes my lips.

I walk up to him and kick him straight in the nuts. He collapses to the floor. Due to being a werewolf, my strength is a lot stronger than a human, so he was in a lot of pain, judging by the face he was pulling and the grunting he was also doing. I must have hit them well. He might be fishing for his cock if he can find it, that is.

I turn back to look at Mr. Norris, who smirks. "Oh, I think you deserved that Shane, but you will be arrested too. This recording has the both of you admitting to the crime and the setup,” he says.

Maxine looks at us but doesn't say anything.

There was a knock at the door and two police officers walked in with Agent Matthews. They handcuffed Shane and Maxine even though they had to help Shane off the floor.

Agent Matthews stayed for two hours and explained everything about what was going to happen next.

Once they left, "Hayley, I am so sorry you had to go through all that," says Mr. Norris.

I look at him. "I was in a dark place when I got here. You saved me," I said.

He smiles. "I knew that you went through something. Harvey told me that it was really bad," he says. "But you have come a long way since."

I nod. "Yeah, but Mr Norris, I'm going to have to quit my position," I said.

Mr Norris looks back at me with a sad look "Why?" He asks.

I sigh. "I want to be home with my family. There are people there that need to know about..." I try to say the words, but they fail me.

He nods, but gives me a stern look. "Actually, you might not need to quit," he says. "I would like you to still work for me, but you can do it back home. You won't have to come into the office and we can do weekly FaceTime meetings," he says. "How does that sound? If you still feel like you don't want to work for me, then we can arrange something else in a few months."

He looks at me. "I made a promise that I would look out for you," he says.

I looked at him, confused.

"I asked him to watch out for you," comes a voice on the phone which was not Harvey's, Alpha Jacob.

I look back, stunned.

Oh my god, he listened to the recording he knows about...but before I could freak out more.

"Hayley, I won't tell him," he says softly. "But you need to tell him and everyone else."

I stare at the phone in disbelief.

Alpha Jacob sighs. "Hayley, I won't tell a soul, not till you are ready," he says.

"Okay," I say weakly.

"Mr. Norris is going to finalize everything with the police so you can come home when you are ready," he says.

I don't say anything.

"Hayls, you okay?" Harvey asks suddenly.

A tear slides down my face. Mr Norris looks at me. "She's okay; I think the shock has set in. I will take her to the airport myself, Harvey," he says.

I don't say anything for a while; Mr Norris hangs up on Alpha Jacob and Harvey.

He leans in his chair and looks back at me. "Do you want to go back tonight or tomorrow?" He asked me.

I look at him. "Tomorrow, but I have nowhere to stay," I say feebly to him.

"Yes you do, you will stay with me and Connie," he says. "Where is your suitcase?"

"Behind Sophie's desk," I say quietly.

He nods.

We both get up and leave the office; I can feel everyone's eyes on me. I can feel their sympathy running off them.

Mr Norris doesn't say anything, just guides me out of the office to his car but stops to collect my suitcase as we walk out.

I can't go home yet.

I need to have time to calm down and settle.
