Alpha's Little Vampire Mate

Chloe's

POV:

I could feel Lily's hawk-like gaze on me as she scrutinized me. I knew she wanted to ask about the Alpha, but I kept a straight face, wanting to delay her questions as much as I could. He'd kissed me.

My lips kept tingling from where our lips had collided and my whore of a wolf wouldn't stop reminding me of it! I was mad at him for putting his lips on me without my permission- Are you really mad?

-But I was more mad at my wolf for coaxing me into making a fool of myself a million times tonight. I can't believe she made me moan out when he kissed me. The most annoying part was the proud smirk on his face when he released me from his breath taking kiss.

I scowled when it occurred to me that I couldn't think of anything else but him... Alpha Marcus. He had successfully snuck his way into my mind and it was frustrating the hell out of me!

We had reached home now. Mark unlocked the door and we all went in. Without waiting for Lily to say a word, I ran into my room and locked the door behind me.

She followed immediately. She turned the door knob and when she realised it was locked, she kept banging on the door but I ignored her.

"Chloe! Chloe?! Open this door now!"

I pulled the dress off my body, then next I took off my jewelry and slammed them on the table. Grabbing some make up wipes Lily left on my dressing table, I started cleaning off the make up on my face. "Chloe Zaphora Tristan! Open this door right now, because I wish to speak with you!"

"Get lost!" I yelled back.

I dumped the wipes in the trash can, unhooked and took off my bra. I went over to my closet and pulled out a red satin mid thigh night dress and wore it over my naked skin.

I heard Mark telling Lily to cut me some slack and go to bed with him. I couldn't help rolling my eyes when I heard them kissing and soon, the door to their bedroom slammed shut.

I had to force myself to sleep or there'll be no sleep for me tonight. They were always so loud and they could easily pull an all-nighter when making love.

I scoff when I started hearing their regular screams and moans, my vampire hearing ability not helping because it sounded like they were right next to me in my bed.

That thought gave rise to another and I wondered what it would be like if I had Marcus beside me right now. Will he have his way with me or will he let me be ready for him? Will I give in to his seduction?

Suddenly, my thought shifted to earlier. I could still feel his lust filled eyes on me like he was in the room right now and I don't know when my hand crept into my panties. I flung my head back against the pillow as my felt my desire with my fingers, Marcus never getting off my mind.

My eyes fluttered open and I felt it again. The swirling sensation in my stomach, then I felt the wetness in between my legs.

We're experiencing heat sis...

Shit! I totally forgot the part where I get into heat after meeting my mate for the first time. It's no wonder I'd been feeling these lustful desires all night!

It started as a dream... but everything happened out here, only the one who caused them that was missing. That meant trouble, serious trouble for me and my body. It obviously wasn't a problem for my wolf, if anything she was horny and excited!

I got up, took some clean cloth and cleaned myself up. I groaned when the feeling swirled in my stomach again, more essence sipping out from me. As I got dressed, it took everything in me to fight not running back to the royal house and beg Alpha Marcus to take me.

My body craved him, wanted him but the problem was; I didn't. I wasn't ready to be with him, hell! I had intentions on declining his offer and Lily had promised to teach me how to 'unmate.'

I had to get out of the house quick before those sleepyheads awoke. They'd been up for most of the night, it was going to take a while before they awoke.

As I'd been educated at wolf school, the pleasurable urges lasted just a few hours before they turned excruciating. At that point, I become uncontrollable. I'll lay with any man that came my way and that could be a threat to the bond. I couldn't meet another man and also, I refused to lie with him! I was going to go away for a few days untill it passes, then I'll be back home. I forgot how it worked... I couldn't recall if my mate got to feel it too or I carry the cross alone. I picked up the new body spray Lily had acquired but left on my table and sprayed a good quantity on myself. That way, it was going to distract anyone trying to sniff me out off my scent.

I was going to sneak out through the door but decided against it. Mark would be able to pick up my scent and movements quickly. So rather, I climbed out through my window, folding to protect my head as my back hit the ground. I got on my feet, dusting the the dirt off my brown cardigan. I started walking fastly, checking to see if anyone was watching. Once I was sure the coast was clear, I zoomed with vampire speed, moving passed the trees in a flash. As I approached the heart of the forest, I levitated into the trees, my speed increasing as I hopped from tree to tree.

Soon, I saw the boundaries. I descended, lowering my body unto the floor. My body began to heat up as my temperature rose. I was always ice cold in the winter and a little warm in the summer but this, it was different.

It felt like my demon had been removed out of my body and my wolf had taken over completely. For the first time, I felt like I was a full werewolf and my body definitely agreed because it had rid me of all my coldness.

For the first time ever, my wolf had overpowered my demon when it came to dominating over my temperature. My demon always won and I was always so cold but the palm of my hands were always warm.

I knew it was the heat causing it, but I still felt scared. It worried me if I had lost a part of myself. I couldn't stand losing either my demon or wolf, I loved them both equally.

I let out a moan, when sensation coursed through my body and exploded in between my legs. I was just taking in the pleasure, naughty thoughts of a particular Alpha beginning to cloud my mind, a searing pain shot through me and I let out an ear shattering scream.

I quickly slammed my palm against my lips as I realised what I'd done. I hadn't intended to scream that loud, but the pain had been too severe. It only worsened as the second thick by and I started sobbing. My sobs got louder and soon, I was wailing.

To hell with heat period and back! No one had told me it was so painful, why the hell did I have to meet my mate again? Couldn't the moon goddess have paired him with someone else!

My tears cascaded down my cheeks as I tried to hold in the screams that were itching to come out. I gave another earth shattering scream, not being able to hold it in any longer. It continued that way, second after seconds, minute after minutes, hour after hours and the pain only increased.

At some point, I'd thought I was going to die. I was lying on my stomach, eyes closed and lips slightly parted as I took in little breaths to see if it'd help with the pain.

That was as helpful as a wolf and vampire becoming best friends. I managed a little chuckle, recalling that I was a hybrid of both races because my mother and father had mated. It was funny to imagine the wonders the mate bond could do. I let out another scream when the intense pain stroke again, my body shaking with every sob. I cried out loud, looking for some help. I wished I could call out to Lily, but I wasn't permitted to cut through the pack's link yet, I had to wait for over a year.

My body was weak, as well my wolf. She was mad at me for putting us through torture just because it couldn't accept our mate. I had no will to argue her, neither did I have the strength. I just wanted to close my eyes and get away from all the pain and drama.

My eyes were starting to flutter shut, when I sensed a presence approaching. My senses weren't stable enough, but I would recognise that scent anywhere. I heard him yell out my name and knowing help had come, I finally gave into the dizziness and my body went limp....
