A Very Furry Christmas

Chapter Chapter Twenty-One

Caitlin walked towards the restaurant, her stomach flip-flopping and her pulse racing ahead of her. It was silly really. She'd done a lot more with Jason than enjoy a meal out. Yet, this was their first real public appearance as a couple. It made things between them more official and with that came the worry she'd more to lose if everything ended. Her track record wasn't stellar when it came to relationships but often the failure came down to her inability to trust, to let anyone into her life. With Jason, she'd had to learn to trust him from the start and so far, he hadn't let her down.

She checked her reflection in the window of the shop next door and pulled down the hem of her grey and black plaid skirt, so the tops of her stockings weren't showing. The restaurant was equidistant from both of their apartments with no pressure on them to go back to either. She had no idea if they'd even spend the night together but since they'd both been too busy with work to see each other for a few days, she'd dressed in the hope he'd be the one undressing her later. Jason was waiting for her just inside the door and her heart gave an extra skip at the sight of him. He stood out in a crowd anyway but with his open-necked pale blue shirt and navy blazer, he looked like an ad for expensive cologne. "You look beautiful." He leaned in to kiss her on the cheek and let her know he smelled good too.

"Thank you. You don't look so bad yourself."

They were forced to stop eye-fucking each other as the waiter escorted them to their seats. Jason pulled out her chair for her, then took his on the opposite side of the table. He ordered drinks while they perused the menu but they both seemed to have their attention elsewhere.

"You look really good."

"You said. Thanks." She couldn't help but be flattered he couldn't take his eyes off her even when she was fully dressed and somewhere very public.

"This is harder than I thought it would be." He shook his head and took a gulp of wine which had arrived on the table. Caitlin's heart sank at the thought she'd somehow disappointed him after all. It shouldn't be that difficult to endure one meal with her, surely?

"We've only just sat down. I'm sure we'll find plenty to talk about if you're afraid my conversational skills might somehow be lacking." Okay, so they'd been more action and less talking during their time together, but she had expected him to give this a better chance at getting off the ground. He'd displayed amazing powers of fortitude, delaying his gratification until breaking point, so she thought he should manage some small talk. Even if it wasn't an exciting prospect for him. "It's not that..." He downed the remainder of his wine and shrugged out of his jacket which he then hung on the back of his chair. "I really want to fuck you in that outfit."

Her mouth formed a perfect 'O'. That hadn't been what she'd expected him to say at all but now he had, it was all she could think of. She crossed her legs and tried to stem the arousal beginning to pool between her thighs.

The waiter appeared at the table to take their order, thankfully oblivious to the sultry mood around the table. Without any consultation Jason ordered two steaks, both medium to well done. A move which baffled her; he'd sworn he wasn't one of those men who'd tell her what to eat as part of his role.

"There'll be a wait on the steaks, sir, I'm afraid,” he was informed by their server.

"That's fine. It'll give us time for a quick cigarette break first." Jason exchanged nods with him, apparently leaving them both content that the information had been passed on and understood. Except for Caitlin who continued to sit in the dark. "Neither of us smoke," she reminded Jason once they were alone again.

"I was simply giving us permission for a time out before dinner."

Caitlin tilted her head to one side, trying to figure out what on earth he was trying to tell her.

Then he nodded his head towards the toilets at the back of the room and she knew exactly what was on his mind.

"I think I'll just go powder my nose," she said, taking up the slack and walking towards the bathrooms first.

Jason followed quickly behind, bundling her into the disabled toilet, his tongue in her mouth before they even managed to lock the door behind them.

"I thought we were supposed to be on a first date?" She made an attempt to stay in character, but Jason was having none of it, already pulling her cowl neck sweater over her head and plunging his hands into her bra to free her breasts. "Fuck that," he muttered, before taking her nipple in his mouth and sucking greedily.

Without any warning he spun her around, so she was watching herself in the mirror, her face flushed and her body half exposed. He bent her over the sink, and she heard the clink of metal as he opened his belt buckle, the rasp of a zipper before he dropped his trousers and she braced herself against the washbowl.

With impatient hands he lifted her skirt up to her waist and whistled.

"Lace top stockings? For a first date? Who are you trying to kid? This is exactly what you wanted," he whispered into her ear and turned her into a puddle of need. Jason pulled her thong roughly away before sinking his cock into her wet hole. She gasped at the blunt entry, but it wasn't long before she was yearning for it again and again. He pounded her hard, the want for her so clear in his determined thrusts. Tits jiggling in the reflection before her, the sight of Jason's face contorted in ecstasy as he pumped into her from behind was almost enough on its own to make her come. Jason wasn't going to leave it to chance, dipping his fingers into her pussy and stroking her until all the sensations became too much for her to endure.

Caitlin covered her mouth to muffle the cry as her orgasm hit, fast and furious. Followed quickly by Jason's grunt of satisfaction when he flooded her with his climax too. They watched each other come back to earth in the mirror, smiling at the spontaneity and passion of their brief encounter.

"That's the best starter I can ever remember having in a restaurant." He was grinning at her as he pulled his trousers back up and refastened his belt.

"I definitely think we've worked up an appetite for the rest of the meal, anyway." Although Caitlin had never expected to be the kind of woman who fucked in public bathrooms, the experience was one more to chalk up on the board for her best sexual encounters to date. All of which coincidentally involved the man standing behind her.

"I'll go back in first and let you get fixed up." He slid the straps of her bra back up her shoulders and delivered another kiss on her mouth. A sweet and tender contrast to the way he'd just banged her over the sink. Caitlin enjoyed both. When she did reemerge from the bathroom, she was sure all eyes on the restaurant must have been on her, everyone gossiping about what the two of them had been getting up to in there. Except the other diners seemed too interested in their own meals and conversations to actually pay any attention to the red-cheeked woman doing the walk of shame across the restaurant floor.

It was only when she saw Jason that her good mood dissipated. Sat at the table, in her seat, was the woman she'd seen leave his apartment the other night. Lydia. The woman who knew how to adhere to the rules and play his games properly. Did she actually own any clothes other than that tarty black mac and red high heels?

When she saw Caitlin coming, she got up to leave but not before she dropped a kiss on Jason's cheek and gave her the type of smug look that deserved a slap.

"What did she want?" Caitlin couldn't hide the jealousy in her tone as she flopped back into her chair.

Jason was distracted by his phone ringing and only gave her a dismissive, "Oh, nothing important."

When he went out to take the call, she was straining her neck to see out the window in case he was meeting up with Lydia Easy-Lay, but he stood on his own. "Is everything okay?"

"Yes. Something surprising really."

"Oh?"

"I've been asked to help coach a team in Glasgow. I'd have to see out the end of the season here of course but I'd love the opportunity to move back to Scotland."

"Is that what you really want to do? Coach?" She'd lost her appetite now when all her hopes and dreams for keeping this going with Jason for as long as possible seemed to be smashed all around her.

"I won't be able to play forever and I have to think ahead to my future. Coaching could be where my career is headed now. I'm going to have to give it some careful consideration. I've asked them to give me some time to think it over." He looked so happy at the prospect she didn't want to burst his bubble, but he hadn't mentioned her in any of these plans.

"That's really good. I'm pleased for you." The wobble in her voice gave away the lie.

"What's wrong?" Picking up on her unhappiness, Jason reached across the table to hold her hand. It made it all the harder to accept this was going to be over all too soon for them.

"I'm being silly. Selfish. I just thought we had a good thing going here. I understand though. This is new. We don't know what will happen and your career is more important." She kept her head down so he couldn't see the tears threatening to give away her pain. The price of his good fortune being her heart.

"Hey." He tilted her chin up with the back of his hand. "I know it's early days for us and a move will be a few months away yet but maybe you'd want to come with me?"

She saw the hope etched across his face and knew he was being serious. He wanted her to start this new life with him. Away from work and friends and everything she'd ever known. Yet the idea of Jason being with anyone else or lining up a string of Lydias in her place, was too hideous to contemplate. It was rash and ridiculous and dangerous to chuck everything in and embark on a new life with someone she hardly knew but everything they'd done so far had been based on her trusting him and life had never been so exciting.

"I'd love to," she said, hope springing to life into her veins for the future. "After all, you've got so much more still to teach me, Sir."
