Caroline could have told him everything; he would have surely taken her side!

"Absolutely sure!" Caroline responded, "The last time we returned to the Brooks family's place, I asked Samantha privately, and she admitted it herself. If you don't believe me, you can check."

"If it was their doing, how could they possibly not know who the buyer was?"

Caroline nodded, "That's what the Brooks family told me, they said the buyer wanted to protect their identity information and bought it anonymously, never showing their face. Whether it's true or not, only they know."

She said this, but inside she was calculating...

Nash must have hidden it well, right? Hopefully, David won't find out.

Because, if the Brooks family had known it was Nash who wanted to buy, they definitely would have offered a higher price, or simply not sold at all.
