Brothers Want Me Back

Chapter Sweet Brother Ch 83

Chapter 83

Tucker's words hit Tracy where it hurt, and her face darkened once again. Her heart ached with a sense of injustice, and her voice wavered with a touch of that same grievance.

"Tucker, do you think I want to think this way? Isn't it more frustrating for me than anyone else? And your grandmother's right-we need someone like Bianca, someone who can bring good fortune and glory to the Yeats family.

"Since Bianca and Elaine can't get along, we have to pick one. Do you really think I'm so cold-hearted that I'd abandon my own daughter like that? It's not that I don't care, but I don't have a choice!"

Tucker let out a cold laugh. He knew exactly why his mother and grandmother had chosen Bianca. He'd overheard their conversation in the living room, and now it all made sense.

Harlan, too, finally understood the whole story. Turns out, their mother and grandmother had been the ones to reject Elaine.

He turned to Tracy, his voice sharp. "So, Mom, you really intend to make Elaine the one to suffer?" "Yes," Tracy replied without hesitation.

"Good," Harlan said, his tone suddenly cold, "Mom, no matter what others call her-whether it's a failure, a country bumpkin, or anything else- Elaine is still my sister. Yes, I've had a lot of prejudice against her before, but I've realized now just how foolish I was."

The painful memories of the past flooded him, and his heart twisted with guilt. He was a genius doctor, having saved countless lives, yet he had

hurt his own sister.

Tucker couldn't help but agree with Harlan. Yes, no matter what Elaine had become, she would always be their sister.

Harlan's voice softened, but his words were firm. "Mom, I just hope you won't regret this."

With that, there was nothing more to be said. Tracy watched as her two sons left, her teeth grinding in frustration. She remembered how Harlan had given Elaine a gift earlier, but didn't comfort Bianca when she had broken her bracelet. That thought gnawed at her, and she immediately began comforting Bianca. Bianca's eyes were red, swollen from crying.

"Mom, Trevon... am I never going to be liked again? Why is everything falling apart?" She sobbed, her voice cracking with vulnerability.

Trevon, who was trying to console her, gave a half-hearted response. "Why wouldn't you be liked? Sure, Tucker has his issues, but Harlan's always been the one who spoiled you. He wouldn't stop loving you just over something this small. Don't worry. Even if no one else cares, I'll always care for you. I've only ever loved you, no one else."

He had always been possessive of Bianca, but hearing him say it like this, it only made Bianca cry harder.

If she lost the affection of all her brothers, what was the point of Trevon's attention?

Tracy, hearing Trevon's clumsy attempt at comfort, couldn't help but feel a flash of annoyance. Was he pouring oil on the fire?

"Trevon, stop adding to this mess. Go see your brothers. Once they've calmed down, they need to come back and comfort their sister," she snapped.

Trevon reluctantly agreed. He was curious, too, about why his brothers had suddenly turned on Bianca. After he left, Tracy sighed.

Lately, things at the Yeats family's Galaxy Entertainment had been going from bad to worse.

The big project that had been secured for Bianca-the Starfall series-was about to be finalized when, out of nowhere, Sharon, the popular actress from Joy Entertainment, swooped in and took it from under them.

Robert was furious, but there was little they could do. Sharon had a powerful backer, and no one could figure out how to take her down.

Word had it that Joy Entertainment had just been bought by a new company, with a female boss named Yeats.

But no matter how hard they tried, they couldn't get in touch with her.

Meanwhile, in the backyard, Trevon found Shawn, Harlan, and Tucker standing together, clearly deep in conversation. They all turned to look at him as he approached.

Chapter 83

"Hey, guys," Trevon said casually, "What's going on? I actually need to talk to you."

Shawn, always the leader, asked first, "What is it?"

"Bianca's crying in the living room. Mom asked me to tell you guys to go comfort her."

For some reason, Shawn's mood soured. "I'll deal with it later. I have something to take care of right now."

Neither he nor Harlan seemed eager to go to Bianca.

Trevon raised an eyebrow, surprised. "If this were before, Bianca would've been your number one priority. What's going on? You guys can't possibly be too busy to comfort her, right?"

Shawn chose to remain silent, his face tense.

He was genuinely overwhelmed. After Elaine's return, he hadn't dared go out. Now, hearing from Tucker and Harlan what had happened, it seemed clear that Elaine had had enough of them.

The usually composed Shawn, now flustered and unsure, didn't know what to do. He might have handled countless business deals, but this? This was different.

Tucker, seeing that both Shawn and Harlan were starting to realize their mistakes with Elaine, couldn't help but remind Trevon once more.

"Trevon, I've told you before. Our real sister is Elaine. Be careful you don't end up regretting this."

"And what if I do?" Trevon shrugged, speaking with a defiant tone. "Sure, Elaine shares blood with me, but that doesn't mean I have to pamper her, right? Who says so? Don't tell me you're all planning to start being Elaine's big brothers now. If that's the case, then Bianca's all mine. You guys can stay away from her."

His tone even held a hint of playfulness, as though he was already sure they'd eventually come back to "claim" Bianca.

Tucker shook his head, disheartened by Trevon's obstinate attitude, and said nothing more.

Shawn and Harlan, both older and wiser, knew a few words wouldn't change Trevon's mind. They were already focused on finding a way to get Elaine back, though they knew the chances were slim. Shawn, in particular, felt the weight of their family's troubles bearing down on him once again.

And so, none of them went to comfort Bianca. Her heart sank as she sat there, uncertain. For so long, she had been the center of their attention, her brothers' unquestioned darling. But now, everything was changing, and she wasn't sure what to do with this new reality.
