Brothers Want Me Back

Chapter 155

Chapter 155

Bianca could not comprehend it. Abbot had once been her biggest admirer, her most loyal fan. Unlike those men who eyed her with lust, wanting only to take her to bed, Abbot's gaze was abrays one of reverence, as though she were a goddess

This feeling was what she wanted. It made her feel superior

Bianca wondered why Abbot was looking at her with such disgust now.

"Abbot, what's wrong? Did I scare you just now? Sorry, I didn't mean to, she apologized.

Previously. Bianca did not know Kingsley and Abbot were brothers.

"Good, at least you're aware. What do you want from me? Wait a second, what are you doing standing in front of my house! You're not stalking me, are you! Damn it, what exactly do you want from me? Abbot asked.

Bianca hesitated before she said, "I don't mean anything by it. I just wanted to ask why I haven't seen you at any of my fan events recently."

Abbot was her biggest fan, and he was incredibly generous with his money.

Fans like him, especially those with money, were the type celebrities would go out of their way to take care of

However, recently Bianca's career had taken a hit. While she barely maintained her top-tier position, losing the title of Galaxy Entertainment's leading actress made her situation much more difficult. It was not as easy to get what she wanted anymore.

After hearing this, Abbot scanned her from head to toe, a look of disliclief on his face.

He asked, "Are you pretending, or really just that naive? Have you seen my sister-in-law? You're aware that she's Eline, right? You can't possibly think I would favor an outsider over my own family, do you? Has Finley's foolishness gotten to you!"

With that, Abbot rolled his eyes.

He could not believe that Bianca, who had always been sman, would ask him such a question.

He was not like the ungrateful Finley, and certainly not like the heartless Yeats family. He would never side with the foster daughter.

"Abbot, have the public opinions online gotten to you too? Things between me and Elaine aren't like what you think. There's a misunderstanding between her and our brothers, and also with our parents and grandmother. But no one expected things to escalate like this," Bianca said.

Bianca had a gift for manipulating her speech, turning everything she said in her favor, which was why Finley and the members of the Yeats family were so easily duped by her

While Abbot was not the sharpest, he could still tell right

right from wrong.

"Cut the nonsense, Abbot said, clearly annoyed. Im siding with Elaine now. You know I'm just a nobody in the Morgan family. Kingsley's the one in charge. Elaine is the woman he loves, and she's my sister-in- law

I can't possibly betray my family for you. Go back to wherever you came from, and don't bother me again. It brings me bad luck."

Bianca was momentarily speechless, caught off guard by how coldly Abbot treated her.

His words almost seemed to contain a veiled insult.

Could it be that he knows everything Bianca thought.

Before she could even respond, Abbot left quickly, almost as if something was chasing after him.

Bianca stared after him speechlessly.

As Abbot's figure disappeared into the distance, Bianca's gentle and once serene expression transformed into one of unreadable emotion.

Just then, Eline appeared behind Bianca, smiling widely. "Oh Bianca, you're still here!" Startled. Bianca spun around and locked eyes with Elaine.

Bianca smiled. "Elaine. Oh, or should I call you Mrs. Morgan now! Congratulations! You found yourself a good man to marry, and his family's rich, I guess your life won't be as miserable as it used to be, right?" 2:05 PM cr

Elaine sized Bianca up, recognizing the latter's beauty, and her face transformed into a more knowing, contemplative look. "Well, well, Miss Yeats, I never imagined you'd have such a day. Falling from the heights of glory into the gutter-what an experience that must be."

Bianca had been abandoned by her brother, who even wanted to air out her dirty laundry,

Abbot, the man who once worshipped her, now could not even bear to look at her.

Bianca watched as Elaine approached, the curve of her simile not fading-in fact, it deepened,

"You still don't know me well enough, Mrs. Morgan," Bianca said. Tm not someone who surrenders so easily.

Confidence flickered across her face.

Depths of the mud? That's simply not an option for me, Bianca thought confidently.

Elaine gave a small nod. "Oh, of course. You're Miss Yeats-born into privilege, proud as ever. That much, I do know

Their words carried no sharp edges.

Yet, underneath, an unspoken battle of wits played out, each picking up on the other's underlying message.

Bianca tilted her head and suddenly asked. "Mrs. Morgan, do you truly long to see me fall! To see me humiliated, stripped of everything, lost in the depths? Funny-I never took you as the vengeful type. Then again, I doubt you'd even be capable of it. So, what exactly do you want?"

Elaine listened to Bianca's deceptively sweet tone and smiled calmly. "Funny thing is, I don't even need to do anything. You're already heading straight for rock bottom all on your own.

"Revenge? Only the pathetic waste their lives chasing it-burning through their time, energy, and money

just to see their enemies in pain. It's simply not worth it. I don't need revenge.

"I simply need to shine-to build my y own brilliant life, to stand at the pinnacle you once envied. Watching you and the others suffer, fail, and fall from grace from up high? That alone is satisfying enough. Isn't that far more enjoyable?"

For the first time. Bianca's smile faltered.

She had never expected Elaine to think this way.

Ever since Elaine woke up, she had stopped competing with Bianca-for their brothers, for their parents, for their grandmother, even for Finley.

In the end, she had chosen to leave the Yeats family, granting Bianca her long-awaited dream of becoming the Yeats family's one and only beloved daughter.

Bianca had always assumed Elaine had chosen to retreat, knowing she could inos win. She assumed that:

at Elaine lacked the ability-even the courage to take revenge, whether on her or on the Years family

But she had been completely mistaken. Elaine never even considered revenge. To her, their downfall and suffering were nothing more than amusement-just passing entertainment in her grander life.

If revenge were to consume Elaine, it would mean they mattered-but they never did.

Elaine saw the change in Blanca's face b but maintained her effortless smile. She leaned in and whispered, "Bianca, just wait and see how I rise, how I carve out a brilliant life for myself.

"And you all of you will stay where you belong, beneath me, forever looking up at me from the gutter, In the end, justice will find you, and punishment will come."

With that, Elaine turned and left, leaving Bianca behind, her face shifting through various emotions.
